But in most cases, you can try to fix the defects, and do it yourself. 1. If the leaf sagged, then this can be corrected by lifting the flaps upward, or by withdrawing the lower part of the flap toward the sagging, and the upper part towards the hinges. If you decide to raise the sash upwards, you need to remove the decorative cap from the lower loop and wrap the stop screw to the end.

If you feel that the handle of the window is loose, then everything is simple: we move the decorative protection on the handle, turning it ninety degrees to the side, and twisting to the end the two screws that secure the handle. If you feel that the pen has become scrolled tighter, then you need to check all the hardware completely. 3. If there are drafts, then first you should check the entire rubber band on the window. In the event of ruptures, diaper rills or other visible defects, the rubber band should be completely replaced. If the seal is all right, then it is necessary to increase the pressure of the leaf to the window. To increase the clamping of the leaf, you need to understand this mechanism. On the lower and upper hinges are placed screws, which are responsible for pressing. They can be found on the leaf and on the scissors. Depending on the brand of the window, you will need either a hex key or an asterisk.

Screw on the scissors is located in such a way that it is difficult to get to it. To make it accessible for use, it is necessary, having pressed the window blocker to the rubber band, carefully detach the leaf from the frame. Then you will see the scissors on which the same screw is located. Next, after working with the cog, you need to return everything to the place. 4. If the handle of the window has become hard to turn, then the reason may be an ordinary lubricant, which eventually dried up and faded. Then it is enough only to lubricate all those details of the fittings and handles that come into play when the window is opened and closed.
