Additives 'E', harmful and safe

Progress, unfortunately, does not always bring people only positive things. Sometimes, especially when innovations are introduced into the sphere of human nutrition, there is just a negative effect. For example, the invention of various food additives that enhance taste, serve as thickeners and dyes, fragrances and preservatives, has become another test for the human body. The consequences of their application are not immediately apparent, and therefore a person is not always able to adequately respond to the causes of diseases.

Food additives include artificial and natural substances that are used to improve the properties of the product, its longer storage and transportation. The name of each additive contains the letter "E" and the number. The presence of additives must be marked on the product label - this is a prerequisite.

There are toxic and safe for human food supplements. All over the world it is forbidden: Е121, Е123, Е216, Е217, Е240, Е924а, Е924б. These are harmful food additives "E". The remaining supplements are considered safe, but some of them cause allergic reactions, adversely affect the gastrointestinal tract.

Tests on the action of food products that contain "E" supplements are conducted in special laboratories. Only after finding out the effect of such supplements on the human body, it is allowed to sell products containing them.

The harm that some "E" additives bring, the table reflects in this way:

E 102 causes allergies;

Е128 promote the development of oncology and congenital malformations;

E 216 and 217 cause severe poisoning;

E 250 promotes the development of hypoxia and oncology, causes beriberi and poisoning;

E 320 causes increased cholesterol;

E 400-499 can cause a disease of the gastrointestinal tract ;

E510, E513 and E527 disrupt the intestinal tract, cause stool loosening and liver disease;

E951 is the cause of mental disorders and the reduction of serotonin in the cerebral cortex.

When buying goods, pay attention to what is written on the label.

Remember that the additives are less where there is less shelf life!

The most dangerous products that contain "E" supplements are:

- gum, because they contain in their composition sweeteners, which can cause the formation of caries;

- chips;

- "liquid smoke";
- colored and carbonated drinks;
- cubes of "Galina Blanca" and similar condiments containing sodium glutamate, which, with frequent use, causes allergies, loss of hearing, glaucoma;
- Some chocolates of such producers as: "Nestle", "Alpen Gold", "Nesquik", "Sweet", "My family", "Aerial".
- some dairy products with a long shelf life;
- some sausage products.

Dear buyers, be sure to study what is written on the packaging! You must remember that you have the right to return the goods back to the store, if at home you saw on the label dangerous food additives. You can, without looking at the label, buy a product that contains a lot of harmful additives. Some substances in them are able to accumulate and have a carcinogenic effect, cause various mutations in the body.

Therefore, the use of such substances someday will make itself felt. Eat natural products from your own summer cottage or buy them from other gardeners. In such food does not contain harmful substances that can adversely affect your body. Vegetables and fruits from the garden do not contain "E" additives, but they have useful properties. Dairy products are better to take from a neighbor who keeps a cow - you will not buy such milk in any store.
