Adam Savage was born in New York on July 15, 1967. Even in his childhood he got "into the TV": he voiced the heroes of "Sesame Street", created by his father - an artist, director and animator. In addition, he acted in advertising, and in 1985 took part in the filming of the clip Billy Joel.

Adam is an avid collector: he collects headgear and glasses. He has not only ordinary (hats, caps and fire helmets), but extravagant (silicone "fifth point" and fencer's helmet).

Activities

From early childhood, when he learned to keep scissors, Adam Savage was making toys of his own invention. Growing up, at different times he tried on the role of the projectionist, carpenter, animator, landscape designer, graphic designer, welder, toy developer. At work he used foam, metal, rubber, glass, neon, paper, hydraulics, plastics and many other materials at hand.

Since 1993, Adam was carried away by special effects. He managed to work on paintings that enjoy incredible popularity: "The Matrix: Reloaded", "Star Wars", "Terminator 3" and several others.

Together with Heineman, he received an episodic role in the "Darwin Award" and CSI.

In parallel with the shooting of the "Destroyers of Legends" Adam Savage taught advanced modeling in the San Francisco Academy of Arts. In addition, Adam does not forget about art: to date, more than 50 exhibitions took place, in which his works took part.

Adam Savage came to the "Destroyers" on the recommendation of a partner for previous projects. In the program, he is the complete opposite of the second presenter. He enthusiastically takes up the implementation of any idea. Unlike the partner, to whom the result is important, Adam takes pleasure in the process. He is not serious, he likes to blow up and break various objects necessary for experiments.
