Adam Gontier began his career almost from school, when he and his friends founded the band Groundswell. In those days it was not very popular, so several times it even disintegrated. Today the team, founded by Adam and consisting of Brad Walston, Neil Sanders, Joey Grant and Fill Crowie, proudly call "Three Days Grace".

Since 2006, when the rock band achieved worldwide recognition, Adam began to have drug problems. The general opinion was that such a peak of popularity of the group became the reason for this dependence, because of such a rapid take-off (and already in 2007 Billboard magazine named "Three Days Grace" the best rock band of the year) every musician dreams. Be that as it may, Adam Gontier and his Wife Naomi for many years struggled with drug addiction and today especially thank for the help of the employees of the Center for Mental Health of Toronto. Even his free time between concerts Adam devotes employees and clients of rehabilitation clinics, where he happily gives acoustic concerts for mentally ill people and problem teenagers. So, the very first tattoo on Adam's body is a black band that mimics a sports bandage. According to the musician, he did it only in order not to fool himself and not to wear every morning the same black bandage that he always wore on his right hand before. Right under the strip there is a philosophical text of his favorite composition "Never Too Late".

After that, an even more massive tattoo followed, which adorns Adam's left arm today. In the future he wants to continue this abstract drawing to the brush itself.

Adam Gontier always had a special attitude to the "beautiful half" of his family. Perhaps that is why he decided to leave on his body the memory of his grandmother, writing on his elbow: "Gramma 1919". But the left shoulder of the guy is decorated with a portrait of his beloved wife, and above him flaunts some incomprehensible, but rather beautiful inscription, apparently, signifying her name.

Symmetrically Naomi's portrait on her right hand is adorned with a strange skull of red color, surrounded by a flame, and beneath it is another massive abstraction.

The right wrist of Adam is adorned, you can even say, with an elegant butterfly, and on the fingers of the same hand is the inscription "GRACE" - each letter is tattooed on a separate finger.
