But the main thing is that this is a unique architectural complex of an ancient palace with a stunning Knights' Hall, from which the Queen opens the session of the Parliament every year. It impresses with luxury and chic and is a typical example of Gothic architecture of the thirteenth century.

The Hague attractions related to art, guarded with special trepidation. Lovers of painting for sure will be interested in the Moritzhaus Museum, which was built specifically for Prince Moritz of Nassau in the seventeenth century. Here one of the most valuable collections of magnificent painting of Dutch masters of the Golden Age is carefully preserved.

Magnificent, as though the city of The Hague, which came to life from the fairy tale, keeps its sights not only connected with culture and architecture. Fans of thrill will enjoy visiting the Gevangenport Museum, or, as it is also called, the Museum of Torture at the gate of prisoners.

But the most favorite and visited by tourists is the park Madurodam. This miniature town appeared in 1952, it gradually expanded and developed, and now it is a large park in which you can see not only the sights of The Hague, but the whole of Holland. All of them are presented in miniature and decorate the streets of the charming town. Today it has more than seven hundred buildings, there are trees, moving trains, boats and tiny inhabitants.
