ZIL-433362: the car for all occasions

In 2003, the assembly of a middle class car was started, which belongs to the family of classic trucks. This truck was called ZIL-433362. In the basic version, this technique is a multifunctional chassis, on which it is possible to install a variety of equipment and additional add-ons.

ZIL-433362 (technical characteristics are given below) for many drivers of the Soviet school was the first truck in their life, on which they mastered the basics of driving cars of this category. The main parameters of the machine are:

The truck is equipped with an engine 508.1, working in tandem with a two-chamber carburetor. The engine includes eight working cylinders, placed in the form of the letter V. ZIL-433362, the technical characteristics of which are acceptable for performing various types of transportation, is able to develop a speed of up to 90 kilometers per hour.

The machine's engine readings are as follows:

• The volume is 6 liters.
• Capacity - 150 horsepower.
• The speed is 2000 rpm.
• The limiting torque is 402 Nm.
• The compression ratio is 7.1.

Cabin

ZIL-433362 has two doors. The salon is equipped with three seats, taking into account the driver's seat. The integral, panoramic windscreen provides the chauffeur with an excellent view of the road at the time of travel. The rearview mirrors are enlarged in size and fixed on special outward metal arcs mounted on brackets.

Also, the doors of the machine, which can be opened at an angle of 90 degrees, have folding windows. If necessary, they can be omitted in manual mode. For the convenience of boarding and disembarking passengers, the cabin is equipped with running boards. The cabin height is 2700 millimeters. If necessary, a sleeper can be equipped inside it.

Transmission and control

ZIL-433362 is created with a five-speed gearbox, which has one rear speed. Coupling of the box to the motor is carried out using a friction clutch of dry type.

The chassis, the two shafts, the intermediate support bracket and the pivoting frogs together form the cardan system of the car. On the semi-axis, the force is transmitted by means of a hypoid single-stage bridge and a differential.

ZIL-433362, whose chassis as a part of the road train is equipped with a special crane for connecting the braking system of the trailer, has a fairly smooth stroke. Front springs are equipped with hydraulic telescopic shock absorbers.

Scope of application

ZIL-433362 is actively used for:

• Transportation of bakery products.
• Transportation of various food products.
• Deliveries to the destination of an industrial group of goods.

The car can be used with the following types of add-ons used for:

• Carrying out emergency repairs. The design of the machine makes it possible under the bottom to install boxes for tools and welding equipment.
• Fueling other cars and gas stations.
• Transportation of domestic and industrial waste.
• Transportation of street cleaners (watering cans, sand spreaders or salt).
• Performing sewage operations.

Despite the fact that the ZIL-433362 is already quite outdated machine from a moral point of view, still the popularity of this model is still very high. This is explained by the impressive repair base, the availability of a large number of spare parts and all the necessary repair kits.
