Why you need to save the book nowadays

The book is the greatest asset of human culture. Different books carry a lot of useful knowledge: some tell us about science, others share life experience, others are created for pleasant leisure. But, unfortunately, in our days of global computerization the good old paper books lose their value, and no one thinks about why it is necessary to save the book. Few people visit libraries and reading rooms, and thousands of books are sold for pennies in flea markets or simply handed over to recycled paper. It seems that in a few decades people will completely forget what real books look like.

Do you need paper books or is it a forgotten page in the history of mankind?

Of course, new technologies have made life easier. Computers, laptops, tablets open a lot of possibilities. Enormous popularity is gaining and e-books. Compact size allows you to carry them with you in everyday life or take a rest. And the Internet makes it possible to download any books for free, without leaving home. But, despite all these advantages, it is unlikely that an electronic box is able to convey all those emotions that we experience by taking a real book in hand.

The paper book is unique. An electronic device can download a hundred books, and all of them will be a soulless set of words. The paper book also contains its own history. Flipping crisp pages of a new book, inhaling the smell of fresh ink, the reader absorbs all the experiences and works associated with its creation. Just holding a real book in your hand, you can immerse yourself in its magic and magic, feel and understand its history.

Why does a modern person need to save a book?

Several centuries ago, books were of the highest value. After all, each book was written by hand, and this is very laborious and hard work. Not everyone could become its lucky owner. Therefore, they were treated with special respect. Then everyone knew why you need to save the book.

Some rare handwritten books have survived to this day, they are stored in museums or closed libraries. Such books are sold at auctions for millions of dollars. But what about ordinary books, do they have value?

The book is the result of the hard work not only of the author himself, who put his whole soul and imagination into his work, but also hundreds of people working on its release. Artists, editors, proofreaders, designers, mechanics, bookbinders put a lot of effort into the publication of each book. That's why you need to protect the book, at least out of respect for the work of these people. Not to mention the fact that hundreds of trees are being cut to make paper, on which books are printed. It should be remembered that to save the book - to save the forest! To rip a page out of a book or simply throw it in a trash can be like cutting a tree thoughtlessly.

Without books a person becomes poor

Literature can enrich a person like nothing else. Reading books develops creative imagination and imaginative thinking, expands the vocabulary. Reading, a person conducts a dialogue with the past, the present, and sometimes the future. Books develop and educate a person from an early age. Babies parents read fairy tales, from which the child learns the first values of life and moral principles, at school books tell students about science and history, and in adolescence they help to learn the life experience of other people.

Of course, reading books requires a lot of time, which is so little in modern man. But the knowledge and experience gained during the reading, will pay off with a vengeance. The love of books makes life easier and helps to understand the confused string of life events, it makes a person respect himself and others, enriches the mind and inspires the heart. Take care of books, because they are able to give your special delicious and rich world! Let's hope that in the future everyone will understand why you need to save the book.
