Five years later, the programmer who had already taken over moved to another company where he was given a lot of freedom. Thanks to this, the developer could do his own "Minecraft" project. Finally, the children's dream, born by Marcus Persson - Minecraft, a strange game about cubes and collecting resources - began to materialize. In 2009, the first raw alpha version of the game appeared on the Internet. At first people were not very interested in the project. Nobody knew who invented the Meincraft and what the idea of the game itself is. However, everything changed after a year.

Takeoff of the project

By the summer of next year, the game began to disperse like hot pies. More than 400 copies sold in one day, allowed the creator to leave his job. Also, Marcus managed to lure the former boss into his small studio as a finance manager. Persson still remained in the shadows under the pseudonym Notch. This allowed him to attract to his mysterious person the attention of the largest publishers and companies, as well as get more than 2 million subscribers in Twitter.

Minecraft, the translation of which means "miner's craft" (and this is what you will have to deal with most of the playing time), was not advertised anywhere. At the same time copies of the project and information about it were distributed with the speed of viral advertising. Demand and popularity

A small company Mojang began to take an interest in everyone who is not lazy. Countless investors, advertising agencies and many others came to the studio with offers almost every day.
