Virtually every major European city has its own museum of eroticism. Barcelona, Amsterdam, Berlin - in these capitals you can find a number of similar institutions. Historically, the first museum of eroticism was opened in Naples in 1819. He was called the secret cabinet of the National Museum of Archeology of Naples. The bulk of the exhibits that were on this exhibition were found during excavations of the famous cities - Pompeii and Herculaneum. Visitors could see them only in 2000. In Copenhagen, the erotic museum was first opened in 1992. It was the first museum in the world in which demonstrations of video of the appropriate content began. Also in this building one could see expositions of erotic nature, arranged in chronological order, from the time of Ancient Rome to modernity. These exhibits are able to acquaint visitors with the development that the world erotica suffered. In addition, in the museum of the capital of Denmark, there are exhibits that can tell about the lives of famous people - for example, writer Hans Christian Andersen, singer and actress Marilyn Monroe and psychologist Sigmund Freud.

The largest museum of eroticism is in Berlin. It was named after the pilot Beata Uze. She managed to become famous not only for her flights, but also for the fact that she organized the first firm that sells erotic films after the war. The exhibits presented in the museum are able to tell about the development of eroticism practically in all countries of the world. In addition, so that the visitor can understand what is at stake, the museum holds a series of thematic clips of intimate content. After all, even those tourists who have a very rich imagination, it is often difficult to understand the essence of certain exhibits.

In late 1997, and in France, there was a museum of eroticism. Paris - and it is here that this exhibition operates - along with other countries of the world decided to educate residents in the field of erotic art. The museum has seven halls, which showcased a variety of sexual artifacts associated with the most ambitious events that occurred in Europe. For example, at the time when the football championship was held, among the exhibits of the museum there were models with a ball.
