Imagine that you go to the club of slot machines, and on the first device drops the jackpot. Then buy a lottery ticket and get the biggest cash prize. And after that, you carry all the money won in your hands through a long and dark alley, but a gang of scumbags, armed to the teeth, does not even pay attention to it. Could this be?

Well, well, if the first two events are purely theoretical and possible, then the third option is difficult to even imagine. To do this, you either need to be a close relative of Ms. Udachi herself, or pathologically lucky, as the character of the painted stories - Domino (Marvel). Nina

In one of the cold Chicago winters, an unknown woman gave birth to a girl named Nina. During childbirth, something went wrong, and the mother died, and the baby got to the local shelter "Holy Heart". There she lived for several years, until her abilities were activated.

It was this specialty that Nina considered most important for her. And she did not fail.

Her skills began to bring in a good income over time. It managed well with burglaries of varying complexity and could circumvent almost any security protocols. In fact, she already did not need a scholarship, because the illegal way of earning quietly covered all of her expenses. Of course, she had the necessary knowledge, but somehow it all worked out very cleverly. Then Nina became thoughtful: is she a normal person?

And how was it really?

In fact, the US government planned Nina's appearance long ago. She and several other children were born under the auspices of a program called Armageddon. Within the framework of this project, they wanted to create perfect weapons. The children were not touched for a while. Waited for when their abilities begin to manifest. Well, here we are.

Nina drew the attention of law enforcement agencies when she began using her skills for illegal purposes. Scammers have long wanted to close, but at the head of "Armageddon" there were very influential people, and they had their own plans for the girl.

Once Nina received a strange letter with a proposal for a meeting. At first she decided that it was a trap that threatened her with imprisonment. Only curiosity turned out to be stronger than fear, and she came to the specified place. Imagine her surprise when the meeting turned out to be real. Moreover, she was offered a job in a secret agency, which she agreed to.

First job

Nina's career in the agency quickly went up the hill, she showed excellent results and very soon she was entrusted with complex tasks. Now she has become not only a high-end specialist in the field of information technology, but also an excellent operative. Working there, she was able to improve her skills and learn to use them more competently. In general, she deserved a task, in the process of which she could at least be a little happy.

Her next mission was not quite ordinary. Nina was instructed to protect Milo Thurman, who possesses the gift of clairvoyance. They worked together long enough and managed to become so close that a romantic relationship arose between them, which led to the wedding. And this Milo began to call her Domino.

New team

But all the good things come to an end, and their happy marriage is no exception. This happened during the attack of the PMI organization. In order not to reach Milo Thurman, he was hid in one of the government bunkers. Domino ("Marvel") there was no place, and since the attack was sudden, lightning-fast and too powerful, everyone decided that the girl was killed.

But, as it turned out, it's easier to break a brick wall with a paper hammer than to destroy such a lucky goal. Therefore, Nina Thurman survived, but for some reason her husband did not hurry back. Domino ("Marvel") met a mutant named Kabel, who invited her as a mercenary in the next team.

True, and there she did not stay long, because she was kidnapped by the arms dealer Tolliver. It's good that she had good relations with Cable at that time, so the mutant took the trouble to find and save her friend. Later, they created a new grouping of Power-X, in which the Cable became the leader.

Again Milo

But the last meeting with her husband for the Domino ("Marvel") was not the last. Milo Thurman was again in trouble when the evil genius of cybernetics - Donald Pearce, with the support of his gang of semi-cyborgs Reavers tried to steal his gift of clairvoyance by transferring consciousness. Domino easily overcame them, but the transfer of consciousness did not dare stop, as this could lead to catastrophic consequences. By the way, there was no more information about her husband.

"The Third Kind"

Despite the loss of her husband, one girl did not stay, because she possessed useful skills, interesting, say, to Professor Xavier. In his design, she had to monitor the observance of the rights of mutants around the world. And this post was not as secure as it seemed at first glance.

For the first mission of Domino ("Marvel Comics" describes in detail the adventures of the girl) and her partner Risk went to Hong Kong. There they came to the trace of the organization "The Third Kind", whose leader worked on the creation of a perfect man. For the partner everything ended sadly: The risk was lost, and Domino contacted the X-Men, and they finished the organization together. But that's not the point, she would have handled it on her own, as was the case with many other missions - success followed good luck.

And so constantly - everything she gets and everything goes away, she was not even seriously in danger, and yet the girl does not have immense power, immortality, smart costume or a magic hammer. Its feature is different.

Ability

The Domino feature (Marvel also talks about this) is that it can influence the probability of the origin of certain events. And the limit of her ability is unknown. In some cases, it works automatically, but if the girl gets under tight fire, she will have to concentrate properly, so as not to turn into a sieve.

Original ability, contradictory character, frequent change of mood and a great love for profanity - all this creates an image of an interesting character. Therefore, it is unclear why the Domino ("Marvel") film has still not been taken off. Although, if you consider that in the picture Deadpool 2 should appear Cable, it is quite possible that his girlfriend may be there.
