What will happen if you transfer oil to the engine. Has poured oil in the engine: consequences

What happens if you transfer oil to the engine? And what should I do if this happens? Those who already faced this problem will be able to answer these questions. Absolutely wrong, who believes that a lot of oil is not a little, and it will not be worse from this. Will be! And the consequences will not be long in coming. About what to do if oil is poured into the engine and what it can lead to if nothing is done, the next article.

Denote immediately: it is better to avoid such situations. Experienced auto mechanics can popularly tell what will happen if you transfer oil to the engine. And if this happened, then their recommendations will help to cope with what happened.

The effect of too much oil will spread in several directions.

Harmful consequence №1

Liquids tend to expand when it is heated. Because of this in the enclosed space, the pressure increases, the seals, various gaskets and seals from rubber, it squeezes from its positions. This leads to deformation and even rupture of these elements. Therefore, if oil is poured into the engine, the consequences are sad: the corresponding joints are depressurized, and a leak of oil appears from there. The pressure drops. The engine's operation loses stability, and the power unit eventually wears out faster.

Harmful consequence №2

When the pressure reaches its critical level, impulse emissions occur. Candles are flooded, the launch is complicated, the engine loses power characteristics, fuel consumption is increased.

Harmful consequence №3

Also because of an overabundance of oil the crankshaft is actually buried in it. In contrast, the oil foams. Reducing the homogeneity of the liquid leads to the filling of air with hydraulic compensators, which, in turn, causes instability in their work. Because of this, loads are also growing on other parts of the gas distribution mechanism, and they quickly become unusable. So, if the level of oil in the engine is transferred, with a non-assembled assembly, replacement becomes the only way out of the situation. And this procedure will not be at all cheap.

Harmful consequence №4

Excessive amount affects the system of the oil itself. The oil filter gets dirty very quickly, which in principle is not a big problem, as it always changes when changing the oil. A much more serious consequence of what will happen if oil is poured into the engine can be rapid wear of the pump in a very short time. But this in the material plan will be very significant and painful.

Harmful consequence №5

In addition, due to the formation of oil deposits, not only the engine pistons will be affected, but also the constituent elements inside the combustion chamber.

This problem will become even more significant than the greater mileage the car has. New units will be able to survive stress not so globally, although they will grow much faster. But for engines with already a considerable mileage, even if a little poured oil into the engine, this can have more serious and harmful consequences.

What to do?

So, what happened was that the oil in the tank was too much. What will happen if you pour oil into the engine is already clear. Therefore, it is impossible to leave the situation unchanged. It is necessary to eliminate the bust. There are two ways to cope with this problem:

  • Suction with a syringe;
  • Draining from the crankcase.

Method number 1

If the level on the dipstick shows a not too high mark from the maximum, then a simple suction is sufficient in a simple way. It is best to warm the engine slightly before the procedure, but that only the oil does not boil.

Suction is carried out in the following way:

  • Screw off the lid from the tank;
  • Lower the flexible tube there (the best option would be a conventional tube from a medical system for blood transfusion);
  • At the other end, put on the syringe, which has the largest volume, that is twenty milliliters;
  • By drawing the syringe piston, the oil is sucked into it to the limit;
  • Then gently disconnect the tube and lower the excess oil into the prepared container;
  • The procedure is repeated until the liquid level is restored to the required level.

Such a method will help to extract as much oil liquid, so much was added inadvertently into the tank. The only drawback here can be that if the oil is poured too much, then too much time will be spent on this. And if, in addition, the oil is bubbling, then this procedure can even become dangerous. In this case, it is better to use another way to remove excess oil.

Method number 2

This method can only be used when the engine has cooled down well, otherwise you can get burns even from a heated plug.

So, the sequence of actions is as follows:

  • The car is pounded on a flyover, pit or lifted by a lift;
  • Cork where the oil is poured, untwisted;
  • Then remove the drain plug on the crankcase by substituting a tray in advance to allow oil to pour in;
  • After the excess fluid comes out, the cap is quickly and tightly screwed.

At the end of the dipstick check the oil level. After all for the engine it's bad not only when it's too much, but also when the lubricating fluid is not enough. Therefore, if necessary, add oil. This method has a number of disadvantages:

  • The work, frankly, is not pure;
  • Also, excessive losses of the oil fluid are possible, since the drainage volume is determined by eye.

Therefore, in general, the first method of removing excess oil is preferred. Although it is longer, it is cleaner and more economical.

The crankcase drain is used only when there is absolutely no time, or in the case of foaming oil.

Of course, in order not to get this trouble and not to spend a lot of time solving it, it's better when the oil changes, be attentive and regularly check the level by the feeler gauge.

About the role of oil in the engine

A person can live without eating anything for twenty days. Sometimes it can even do him good. But for the machine, oil starvation is extremely harmful and contraindicated. Without lubricating fluid, the motor will very quickly fail, since its functioning is provided by a lubricant, due to which it will live long and in a healthy state.

We have already found out what will happen if the oil is injected into the engine of the injector: all the characteristics will gradually deteriorate in the flooded motor, as the oil is supersaturated with carbon black particles and wear elements, and oxidizes. This can be checked by filling the light oil and letting it work for a few minutes. After verifying it afterwards, we find that it has become noticeably darker. The fault is due to deposits that accumulate during operation in the liquid and clog the receiver grid. Because of this, the oil channels significantly decrease in size. The bearings of the camshaft and crankshaft inserts will have a lack of fluid. And this, in turn, can lead to breakage of the power unit.

The ability to work without lubrication in the engine will be much less. The property of the oil is to be on the surface. Therefore, when the temperature increases, oxidation does not occur. That's why it should have excellent low-temperature characteristics, allowing to start the engine without problems. At the same time, high-temperature properties protect the engine at maximum loads and revs. Thus, carbon deposits and carbon deposits form a very small amount.

As you can see, in the life of the engine a huge role is played by the lubricating fluid. Therefore, if oil is poured into the engine, what will happen: VAZ is a foreign car, it does not matter. The consequences are serious, if you ignore this issue and go further. For a while you can travel without problems. But later they will be a lot. By eliminating excess fluid, you will protect yourself from all this.

Watch the oil level carefully, and then the motor will serve faithfully and truthfully for a long time and in good faith!
