Fifteen years will soon come to an end, as a stunning collective appeared on the Russian stage, subduing the heart of every man - the group "VIA Gra". For the whole history of its existence, more than ten soloists have changed in it, and therefore those who were part of the first composition of "Viagra", from which everything began, now very few people remember. So who was at the source? What was the very first lineup of Viagra, the legendary female band of the Russian stage? Let's remember.

History of group creation

Two friends, two talented musicians, two music-obsessed people, eager to change the world, decided to create a new women's collective that would turn the notions about the Russian stage. In 2000, a successful television producer Dmitry Kostyuk and composer Konstantin Meladze, analyzing the success of Spice Girls in the West and "Brilliant" in Russia, joined forces to create a new group that not only can compete with popular bands, but will also become a benchmark for them.

Selection of soloists

Since the task was not easy, the work progressed very slowly. The first composition of "Viagra" was typed very long. The first in the group was Alena Vinnitskaya, at that time the TV host of the Biz-TV channel, whose general director was Dmitry Kostyuk. He invited a talented and intelligent girl to participate in the project, but she doubted for a long time, because she preferred rock music. The interest to see what will come out of this venture, got the better of doubts, and Vinnytsia agreed.

Numerous castings did not give results, the producers could not find those who fit the format of the group by one hundred percent. The first line-up of Viagra, Alena Vinnitskaya and the selected girls Marina Kashchin and Yulia Miroshnichenko, began work on the first tracks, but the result did not satisfy Konstantin Meladze and Dmitry Kostyuk, and they decided to close the project.

After a while they returned to the unrealized dream and started all over again, only this time even more demanding began to treat the pretenders for a place in the "VIA Gre".

Not a trio, but a duo

Initially, it was planned that "VIA Gra" will consist of three surprisingly attractive and charming girls who can sing. Desperate to find suitable soloists, the producers thought about creating a solo project with Vinnytsia. But the unexpected discovery for them was Nadezhda Granovskaya. The girl met all the requirements, most important of which is a stunning sexy appearance. So, at last, Viagra was formed.

The first line (the photo above) did not last long, but did a lot.

"Attempt No. 5" - the so-called first song of girls, which instantly made them insanely popular - they literally woke up famous. It happened on September 4, 2000, the day after the premiere of the composition on the Biz-TV channel. The debut was awarded with "Golden Gramophone", "Stopudovy Hit", "Golden Firebird" and "Golden Dumbbells" awards. In 2001 the band released their first album.

Many years have passed since that, and the soloists often changed in the team, but no one will argue with the fact that Alena Vinnitskaya and Nadezhda Granovskaya are the very first "VIA Gra". By the way, is it interesting to you why the group was named just like that? There are several versions.

Origin of the name of the group

It turns out that the team was given a name not in honor of the drug of the same name. According to one of the versions, "VIA Gra" is a combination of the abbreviation "vocal-instrumental ensemble" and the word "gras" (in Russian - "game").

In another, the name consists of the first letters of the surnames of the soloists. "VI" - Vinnytsia and "GRA" - Granovskaya. "A" between them for readability.

Nevertheless, the sexy appearance of artists, members of the team, is more inclined to associate with a widely known medical product. In addition, by ear, the name is perceived the same way.

It was with this girl began the history of the group. She joined the first line-up of VIA Gry, and still her name evokes association with the band. Alena Vinnitskaya participated in the project of Meladze and Kostyuk for three years, after which she left the group and went on a free voyage through the expanses of show business. Nadezhda Granovskaya: some facts from life

A young provincial girl Nadezhda Meikher, who came from the outback to the capital of Ukraine, managed to get into the first part of the group "Viagra". The names changed, the soloists left, new ones came to replace them, but Nadezhda Granovskaya was the most frequent guest in the team. She left the group several times, then came back again. The reasons for this were different - pregnancy, conflicts within the team, etc. Nevertheless, for her in the "VIA Gre" was always open the door. An interesting fact is that before participating in the project, Nadezhda Granovskaya did not have any vocal experience at all. "VIA Gra" taught her to sing and turned into a real star. Now she is a successful singer, actress and TV presenter.
