Attack on the trail is helped by the cemetery inspector Yunas Logan, who was performed by Oulavur Darri Oulafsson. He turns out to be an involuntary accomplice in the murder of one of the victims. And whether from a cargo of guilt, or from fear of accomplices, commits suicide.

Having unraveled the chain of crimes, Scudder finds out that the beginning was involuntarily put by Peter Cristo, when he surrendered his brother to the UBN agent Maria Gottensberg. In search of the best in himself, he is helped by a black teenager named TJ, played by Astro. This impudent, funny youngster dreams of becoming a detective. And Scudder practically takes him as a partner. Kenny Cristo, who asked the detective to find the killers of his wife, is a drug dealer who climbed the ladder of financial well-being. Despite his criminal activities, the character is imbued with obvious sympathy. And not only because he tragically lost his beloved wife. But also because it's simply impossible to resist the look of Dan Stevens's clear blue eyes.

The image of a descended addict with red, inflamed eyes, hopelessly in love with his brother's wife and secretly envious of his success, turned out to be sewn along it.

A small role Danny Ortiz played in the movie Maurice Comte, known to the audience on the series "Narco". But the most successful role of the second plan went to the actor, who portrayed the character of Yunas Logan. Oulawyer Darri Oulafsson practically does not act in American films. Although he was born in Connecticut, he spent his entire life in Iceland, where he became one of the most famous actors. He was repeatedly awarded local awards, and also received a prize at the festival in Karlovy Vary. Invite him to participate in the shooting was a very good idea of Frank Scott. This really strong actor brought out from the small role of the complexed fat man a truly tragic line.

When he saw the actor in the role of Michael Collins in the film of the same name, he realized: no one better able to embody the image of Matthew Scudder.
