Vladimir Ustinov: biography, professional activity

Between 1999 and 2006, Vladimir V. Ustinov was the RF Prosecutor General. A family

Education and the Army

After returning from the army, Vladimir Ustinov entered the Kharkov Institute for a law department and graduated in 1978. After he defended his candidate in the Moscow Academy on the topic of combating terrorism.

Career

After graduating from the Kharkov Institute, Vladimir Vasilyevich got a job as an intern in the prosecutor's office. Then he quickly climbed the career ladder: he first became a simple, then senior assistant to the prosecutor in the Korenovsky district. In 1983, V. Ustinov was appointed deputy prosecutor in the Don district, and later - prosecutor of the Gulchevsky district.

In 1985, Ustinov was appointed to the same post in the Khosta district of Sochi, and then he was transferred to Sochi as prosecutor. From 1994 to 1997 Ustinov Vladimir Vasilievich was the head of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, and then was appointed first deputy prosecutor of the Krasnodar Territory

Transfer to Moscow

In 1999, Ustinov was appointed to the post of Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation and received a transfer to Moscow. Later, in the same year, he began to act as Russia's Attorney General. In 2000, he was already appointed to them officially and joined the Security Council of the Russian Federation.

In 2005, Vladimir Vasilevich was confirmed in the post of Prosecutor General for another five years of service. But in 2006 the Federation Council of Russia received and granted the request of the President of Russia to release V.V. Ustinov from his post at his request. Since 2006, Vladimir was appointed Minister of Justice of Russia after the resignation of M. Fradkov. But in 2008, Vladimir Vasilievich was removed from his post. Ustinov's activity as the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation

From 1998 to 1999 Vladimir Vasilyevich was on the post of Deputy Prosecutor General of Russia. He supervised the department for overseeing the observance of federal security and inter-ethnic North Caucasian relations. The task was not easy: it was necessary to achieve compliance with the law in a complex regional situation.

Prosecutors fought against bandits and terrorism, restored law in Chechnya. Most of the problems were solved thanks to the principles of Ustinov. He personally joined many complex investigations and conducted public prosecutor's checks.

Vladimir Ustinov - the first of the chiefs of law enforcement agencies, formed the Office of the Prosecutor General's Office in the new districts and appointed deputies who oversee their work. The main task was to create a unified legal state sphere by bringing regional legal acts in line with federal laws and the Constitution of the Russian Federation.

In 2000, Vladimir personally led the investigation into the death of the Russian nuclear submarine Kursk in the Barents Sea. Ustinov VV not only attended the raising of the destroyed ship, but also told about the causes of the disaster. He also investigated the terrorist attacks in Volgodonsk and Moscow, conducted the case of V. Gusinsky and Media-Most, as well as Y. Goldovsky on the seizure of Nord-Ost and Sibur.

Vladimir Ustinov forced all the chiefs of prosecutors to support state prosecution in the processes, if they cause public outcry. And he gave an example to everyone. In 2001, Vladimir Vasilyevich acted as the state prosecutor in the case of Raduyev, a Chechen terrorist who praised the Kizlyar hospital in 1996 and took hostages in Pervomaisky.

Also in the number of high-profile cases, which dealt with Vladimir, entered "YUKOS" and the persecution of Yulia Tymoshenko, ex Prime Minister of Ukraine. Under Vladimir Vasilievich, the Prosecutor General's Office played a significant role in the redistribution of property. Berezovsky was under investigation, but he was able to leave for the UK. And Lebedev and Khodorkovsky were convicted in 2005. Co-owners of the Yukos company (L. Nevzlin, V. Dubov and M. Brudno) managed to leave the country.

The activities of Vladimir V. Ustinov, supported by Vladimir Putin, forced all other influential and large business owners to become much more loyal to the state.

Personal life

Ustinov VV was married to Nadezhda Alexandrovna, who is now a housewife. They had a son, Dmitry and daughter Irina. His son worked in the presidential administration and married the daughter of Deputy Prime Minister I. Sechin. The daughter of Vladimir Ustinov, Irina, is an assistant prosecutor in the Khostinsky district of Sochi, where he lives.

Awards and titles

By a closed decree of the President of the Russian Federation in 2001, V.V. Ustinov was awarded for heroism and courage, which he displayed in the performance of the special mission, was awarded the title of Hero of Russia and a special badge - the Gold Star medal.
