About the breeds whose cat's muzzle is flat
It's been more than one millennium since cats have become domesticated. During this time, hundreds of different breeds, radically different from each other, were withdrawn. Here there are fluffy Persian cats with a flattened snout, and completely hairless and with huge ears, sphinxes, and giant Maine coon cubs, whose weight can reach ten kilograms, and the Scythian-tai-dons, whose weight rarely exceeds two kilograms. Yes, the variety of all kinds of domestic felines is impressive. But hardly any breed can cause more affection than the one whose cat's face is slightly flattened. And if to this also add big and, preferably, sad eyes, then hardly anyone can indifferently pass by.
Breeds of cats with a flattened muzzle
- Persian cat - perhaps the most famous and popular breed. Fans, stating the fact that the cat's face is flattened, immediately call it the owner of the Persian one and it must be said that in this some truth is present. After all, this breed is considered the progenitor of most cats with such a feature.
- Exot - this breed of cats is somewhat reminiscent of Persian, but slightly smaller in size, its fur is also somewhat shorter and the expression of the muzzle is slightly kinder. Due to the shorter length of wool, it is easier to care for exotic things than for Persian cats.
- Himalayan cat - this breed is a mixture of Persian cat with Siamese. Color at it similar to Siamese, and the length of a wool, the flattened muzzle of a cat, blue color of eyes have turned out, as at Persian.
- Scottish Fold and British Shorthair. These two breeds have a rather slightly flattened muzzle rather than a flat one. The wool at them is not long and very soft, dense, because of what they are similar to a plush toy. The main difference between these breeds is in a different form of ears. At the Scottish breed they are bent to a head, for what it has received the name "lop-eared". And British cats have ordinary ears.
- Also, this species includes a wild cat with a large muzzle, flattened, like the previously mentioned rocks, - manul. Only manul is unlikely to be taught to live in a city apartment.
