Divisions of various promotions in the MMA are literally crammed with fighters, each of which is able to become a real star octagon. One of such bright warriors is Vladimir Mineev. Few facts

Vladimir Mineev was born on February 16, 1990 in one of the extreme districts of the city of Sverdlovsk, and later with his parents was in Saransk. But already from three years the future uniborious person lived in Ulyanovsk. The parents of the fighter and the elder brother are physicians. As Vladimir himself recalls, in his childhood he was a fighter, and there was not a day that he did not come into conflict with someone.

Sport life

Vladimir Mineev studied the anatomy in detail since childhood, and his father wanted the young man to become a doctor. However, Vova early left without the pope, because he died suddenly. Soon the guy got into the sport. His first mentors were Golovikhin and Safonin.

The first very serious success to the fighter came in 2008, when he was able to become the champion of the Russian Federation in kickboxing, thanks to which he was able to get into the national team. Then there was a success at the European Championship, held in Portugal under the patronage of the World Association of All Kickboxing Organizations. A year later, Mineev again went to the European championship, but was forced to be content only with a silver award. In parallel, the young man began to perform in professionals, where he won three times in four fights, and thanks to one of the victories he was able to become the world champion according to the WAKO Pro version. In that duel he knocked out a representative of Belarus Zelinsky.

The year 2011 was also quite successful for the sportsman. He managed to become the bronze medalist of the European Championship, to win the title of champion of the continent WBKF. And a year later in the land of Vladimir Mineev becomes the best in his weight as an amateur, and as a pro won in six bouts and took himself the belt of the WKA world champion.

Throughout 2013-2014, the fighter conquered and defended the belt of the world leader WKN belonging to him.

Career in mixed martial arts

As a professional athlete in the MMA fighter Vladimir Mineev made his debut on September 30, 2014 in a battle against Fernando Almeida. The first pancake did not come out as a lump, and the Brazilian was defeated by TKO. After that, there were seven more successful fights for Russians, in which he won ahead of schedule. However, on December 9, 2016, our hero suffered the first defeat in a fight against Michael Falkan. But already in April 2017, these two athletes met again, and the Russian was able to take revenge by knocking out an opponent.

Scandal

In the spring of 2017 Mineev conducted training camps in preparation for his professional fight and decided to participate in the amateur tournament on MMA in Dagestan. His opponent was Aziz Dzhumaniyazov. After the end of the second five-minute Dagestan kicked Vladimir's foot, which he punched with his fist. As a result, several supporters of one and the same soldier immediately ran into the ring, and a massive fight ensued. Subsequently, the conflict was exhausted, and the athletes left the tournament.

Life outside sports

Vova's personal life is sufficiently closed from outsiders, although he is a public person. It is known only that Vladimir Mineev and his girlfriend Karina are very fond of taking photos together and sometimes uploading pictures to Instagram. In addition, the athlete has a daughter whose mother, for some unknown reason, does not live together.

Also, the fighter successfully graduated two higher education institutions, both of which are in Moscow. In addition to sports, the guy is still engaged in business, very fond of reading and, if possible, engage in charity, develop sports in his native region.
