Due to the fact that he had poor eyesight, while serving his sentence in the colony, he was nicknamed "Bear blind". Ustinovich spent 22 years in his life. In his criminal activities there was robbery and theft.

While serving his sentence in 1989, Mikhail met another prisoner, as it turned out, they were very similar in appearance. Therefore, Ustinovich Mikhail Ivanovich disguised himself under that prisoner and could easily commit crimes. Soon they switched to the points where they exchanged currency, Mikhail killed two people during one of the robberies. Victims of the murder were guards who tried to catch the bandits. At the time of the robbery, Mikhail lost his hat. Of course, it was processed, and the smell was conserved, in further investigations it helped a lot.

In 1993, an officer appeared in Moscow, robbing apartments and people, then no one suspected that it was Ustinovich. There were many casualties, 2 times he even killed the owners.

Jail

Mikhail and Nikolai from his gang were caught while handing over the valuables that were stolen in the apartment to the pawnshop. Almost immediately they confessed everything, and handed over the other accomplices. The cap that Ustinovich lost in the mall was identified, and this was a strong proof of Mikhail's guilt. Ustinovich and his gang committed 21 robbery attacks, many robberies and 4 murders.

In 1996, Ustinovich Mikhail Ivanovich was sentenced by the Moscow City Court to the most brutal punishment that existed at that time - the death penalty. After that, he was changed to life imprisonment. Members of his gang received different punishments: Grysko was sentenced to 14 years in prison, Sargasian received 10 years, Karyan - 6 years.

Colony "White swan"

At the moment, Mikhail is serving his life sentence. The "White Swan" colony is a correctional colony with a strict regime for life-imprisoned criminals. It is located in Russia, in the Perm region, where Mikhail is passing his days. One day journalists came to Ustinovich to write an article about him, they asked him if he wanted to spend his life in confinement, he answered that it is better to die than to live like this.
