Unified State Examination: compulsory subjects for passing the exam

As a form of state final certification of general secondary education, a single state examination (USE) has been used for several years already. Mandatory subjects are mathematics and Russian. Conducting the final certification has common rules that have been repeatedly changed. The latest changes to the general rules will be discussed in this article.

About the rules

EGE (compulsory subjects and subjects of choice) is conducted using control measuring materials (CMM), which are standard form complexes with tasks. In addition, there are special mandatory forms to complete the responses to assignments. Compulsory subjects of the Unified State Examination, as well as subjects, are chosen in Russian in writing, if this is not a section of foreign languages ("speaking").

Exams are conducted on the territory of Russia and outside it on a single schedule. The organizers are Rosobrnadzor and executive authorities of those subjects of the Russian Federation that manage the sphere of education (OIV). Outside the country accept the USE (compulsory subjects and subjects of choice), also Rosobrnadzor and the founders of educational organizations of the Russian Federation, which are located abroad, have state accreditation and implement educational programs of general secondary education, as well as foreign missions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia that have structural specialized educational units.

Admission to the Unified State Examination

Compulsory subjects and subjects are chosen by students who do not have academic debt and who have completed their individual or general curricula in full, with grades in all subjects for all years of study not less than satisfactory.

The state final certification has the right to take in the form of USE (Russian language and mathematics) children with disabilities and invalids, as well as students with limited health opportunities, studying in educational institutions of closed type and institutions that serve sentences of imprisonment.

Students on educational programs of vocational secondary education are also eligible for certification in the form of USE (Russian language and mathematics, as well as subjects of choice for admission to higher education). The same right is enjoyed by students in educational organizations of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

Re-attestation and external

The right to certification in the form of USE is available to graduates of past years (with a document on obtaining a general complete secondary education until 2013), as well as those students who master the educational programs of vocational secondary education and study in educational organizations abroad, even if they have There are valid USE results of the past years.

Can pass the USE and people who have mastered secondary education in other forms - family education or self-education, or have mastered non-accredited state educational programs. They can go through the GIA externally in an accredited educational organization.

Items

Now the compulsory subjects for the passing of the USE are Russian and mathematics. However, in 2020, changes and additions are planned. First, according to the head of the Ministry of Education and Science Olga Vasilieva, it will be mandatory for everyone to take an examination in history. In addition, the compulsory subjects of the Unified State Examination in 2020 may include a foreign language and geography. Indeed, without knowledge of history, the country will not be able to successfully move into tomorrow. Whether geography will be an obligatory subject of the Unified State Examination will not be decided, as the entire existing system of examinations will be revised.

However, English as a mandatory subject in the USE (or other foreign language) is likely to be. A number of regions in 2020 will take such a subject in the approbation mode. Further, by 2022, the country will be ready to introduce a foreign language into the examination minimum in schools, and now test tests are being prepared, programs are being developed. History as an obligatory subject in the Unified State Examination is already a matter of almost solved, although it will happen, according to Olga Vasilieva, before 2020. This will be the third mandatory subject.

History with geography

Olga Vasilieva made many statements at the All-Russian Conference on the History of Russia, which was held in February 2017, regarding the development of education in the country. Much has been said about the commission of the Unified State Examination in 2020. Required items will be replenished. She clarified that today children are given only mathematics and Russian, but the third subject of the USE should become history.

She also said that she was listening attentively to the increasingly loud public opinion regarding the GIA, which pupils give after the end of the ninth grade, in geography. Very many citizens are advocating for the introduction of such an exam when they leave the school. The list of compulsory subjects of the Unified State Examination will necessarily be replenished. Perhaps, and geography will be included in their number.

For admission to the university

In 2009, all school leavers received information on the compulsory subjects of the Unified State Examination. They became the Russian language and mathematics. In this case, every eleventh-grade student should receive a score not lower than that established by the Federal Supervision Service. In addition, for admission to the university graduates choose their own several necessary items. You need to choose from the list of general educational disciplines that are on the USE list. How many compulsory subjects, for example, must the eleventh-year-old student be going to take to enter the university? This will depend on the chosen specialization. For example, a future programmer needs ICT and computer science.

The tasks of the USE on mathematics can be performed in advance not only completely, but also repeatedly, for this purpose there are official portals with open task banks. Since this subject is compulsory, graduates do just that. But mathematics is different from mathematics. The same future programmers should not decide the basic option, but the profile one. The assignments of the USE on mathematics at the profile level require, at the same time, only the knowledge of the school course. On the site of the chosen university for certain there is a free demonstration material that can be used for self-preparation.

List

Subjects, including compulsory, optional by the graduate school for admission to the university:

1. Russian language.

2. Profile and basic mathematics.

3. Chemistry.

4. Physics.

5. Social studies.

6. History.

7. Information and communication technologies and informatics.

8. Geography.

9. Biology.

10. Literature.

11. Foreign language (English, French, German, Spanish).

To get a certificate of graduation from high school, you only need to take two compulsory subjects - the Russian language and mathematics. Further on a voluntary basis, a graduate can take his own choice of any subjects according to the requirements of a certain higher education institution. Everything depends on the planned direction of preparation, that is, the specialty.

Changes

Since there are not too rapid, but dramatic changes in the country, this can not but affect the education system. A lot of complaints were accumulated by the Ministry of Education and Science from the country's population. Of course, this system of passing exams has its advantages, as, for example, the option of preventing corruption and the independence of the resulting assessment of knowledge. But there are a lot of disadvantages. It is planned by 2019 to develop a mechanism for passing the USE already in six subjects, as well as to increase the number of attestations of the junior school. Of course, knowledge needs to be assessed systematically, so that students acquire skills that increase responsibility and order.

In a minus the existing organization of the USE, both parents and teachers put the test character of the exam. Most students simply try to guess the correct answer. This system has long ago needed to be abolished, replacing it with the form of the survey that existed before 2009. Of course, rehearsals and public opinion polls are necessary before anything new is introduced into this system, because, first of all, it is necessary to understand how much each situation will improve the situation.

Terms and tasks

Conducting the Unified State Examination in the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as outside it, provides for a unified schedule. Each academic subject has its own duration of the exam. The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation in January of the current year issues a decree in which a single timetable and duration of each examination is approved. Also, it provides the entire list of funds that will be needed for training and education and will be used in the conduct of the USE.

FIPI (Federal Institute for Pedagogical Measurements) develops examination tasks (KIM), that is, complexes of standardized tasks, with the help of which the level of mastering the educational standard will be established. On the FIPI website, you can familiarize yourself in advance with the section of demonstration versions of the USE for each subject, as well as with documents that regulate the content and structure of CMM - with all codifiers and specifications. Tasks can be either deployed or with brief answers. Oral answers of examiners in foreign languages are recorded using audio carriers. This section ("speaking") is still on a voluntary basis.

A responsibility

Information of control measuring materials used for state certification can not be disclosed, since it refers to information with limited access. Therefore, all those who will be involved in the USE, as well as those who take the exam during the period of its conduct, are responsible for disclosure of CMM information in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

If CMM information will be published, for example, on the Internet, this will be evidence of signs of an offense under articles 13.14 and 19.30 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation; 59, part 11 of the Federal Law of the Russian Federation "On Education in the Russian Federation".

results

State final certification, which is conducted in the form of the USE, uses a hundred-point system of assessment in all subjects, except for basic-level mathematics. Separately, for each subject a minimum is established by the number of points, and if the examiner has overcome this threshold, then the mastering of the general average educational program will be confirmed.

When the examination examination is completed, the results of the USE in all subjects are reviewed by the chairman of the HES, after which he decides to annul, change or approve them. The approval of the results takes place within one working day after the examination of all examination papers.

Appeals

If the examining secondary school graduate is not satisfied with the points received, he has the opportunity to file an appeal of disagreement within two days of the announcement of the results of the Unified State Examination. It is drafted in writing and submitted to the educational organization, which allowed admission examining the USE.

Graduates of past years and other categories of USE participants can appeal to the place of registration for delivery or to others that the region has determined. The results of the exam for each examiner exist only in the federal information system, and paper certificates about them are not provided. Their period of validity is four years.

Re-surrender

If a graduate of this current year receives a result that is below the established minimum of points for any of the compulsory subjects, he can pass the USE repeatedly - in a single timetable there are additional terms for this. If, however, any participant of the USE fails to get a minimum of points in the subjects that he chose for admission to the university, the re-registration will take place only after a year.

Since 2015, all students can take the USE in compulsory subjects up to three times (this applies only to mathematics and the Russian language). This is possible either on additional days, if only one item is failed, or in the fall (September, October). In the latter case, admission to the university can not take place, because the necessary time has passed, but the student will receive the certificate at the same time.
