Not so long ago, fans of soap operas could enjoy the premiere of the drama series Izmena. This multi-part film is a remake of another Dutch film called "Adultery", released in 2011. Immediately after the redemption of rights to broadcast the television series in the press service of the channel announced the preparation of a pilot version of the first episode. And only by January 2013 it was decided to invite one of the most popular screenwriters and directors of our time - Patty Jenkins. That's where it all started.

Began a painstaking process of writing the script and selecting actors with the active support of the author of the project - David Zabel. Filming took place in the streets of Chicago.

At one of the parties where the main character arrives at the direction of the editorial office, Sarah meets a charming Jack McAllister (played by Stuart Townsend). And this meeting completely changes the life of a decent mother and loving wife Hanley.

Soon she notices that the stranger has firmly settled in her head and heart. The photographer who has emerged from nowhere is trying in vain to hide, but a new meeting is taking place - passionate Jack comes to Sarah's studio. And then the heroine can not resist the huge temptation, completely surrendering to the power of her new acquaintance and forgetting about her husband Drew (this role is played by Chris Johnson). Among other things, this lawyer is married to his client's daughter and has a reputation as an exemplary family man. But how did the show "Treason" end, if the business takes such an unexpected turn?

At the next stage of the series there is a bright splash of a new storyline: a love story begins to closely intertwine with criminal scenes. There is an unexpected turn and now the lover and the husband shoulder to shoulder are fighting for the life of their beloved ...
