Transport routes to the resort, or How to get to Gelendzhik by train

Most Russians and residents of the former Union prefer to rest at their resorts, rather than go to foreign countries. One of such places since the Soviet times is Gelendzhik. This small town in the Krasnodar Territory can rightfully be considered a real resort of the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus in the full sense of the word. It is comfortably located on the coast of the eponymous bay between two picturesque capes. This geographical location largely determines the climate and makes Gelendzhik one of the most popular resorts on the Black Sea coast. The city is surrounded by the majestic and picturesque ranges of the Caucasus Mountains.

How to get there, than to get there?

Annually tourists, going on holiday in Gelendzhik, are faced with a choice: "What kind of transport to take advantage of?" There are several options. Can:

There is another option of how to get to Gelendzhik by train. You can go to Krasnodar, if there is no direct transport to Novorossiysk. But this is not the best option. The capital of the province is much further away and the way to Gelendzhik (170 kilometers) will take about 4 hours by bus. You can choose for yourself another way of getting to Gelendzhik by train. First you need to somehow get to Anapa, and then more than 100 kilometers to go by taxi or bus. This is also not an easy task. You can, of course, before you get to Gelendzhik by train, first to come to Sochi. But the road from this resort center to a small coastal town is able to reduce the money supply of the holidaymaker in order.

These rules must be known in advance

To finally understand and clearly understand how to get to Gelendzhik by train, we must remember two things:

  1. In the city-resort Gelendzhik there is no railway station and communication on rails is possible only through nearby settlements.
  2. The closest to Gelendzhik is Novorossiysk. It is from here that you can get to the desired vacation spot in as short a time as possible.

Then you need to determine the order and sequence of movement:

  1. Arriving in Novorossiysk, you need to get from the railway station to the bus station. With bags and suitcases it is difficult to do on foot. It is better to use a trolley, bus or, in extreme cases, a shuttle bus.
  2. Then you can reach the final destination by the same means of transport. It is better to get acquainted with the traffic schedule and the cost of tickets. And do not forget that the taxi is always an order of magnitude more expensive than public transport.

Calm road - the guarantee of a good holiday

In order to determine which train to get to Gelendzhik, you need to know where you should go from. From many large settlements of the CIS countries you can get to the railway stations of the main centers of the Krasnodar Territory. For example, from Minsk there is a direct train No. 302 to Adler. It passes through the territory of three states: Belarus, Ukraine and Russia. The way to the resort town will take a considerable time, but it will not be necessary to make transplants, and immediately from Adler directly to go to Gelendzhik. Russian cities in this case is much easier. Practically in any of them the composition with direct appointment to Novorossiysk is formed. Trains, the starting point of the movement of which are the cities: Moscow, Tambov, Arkhangelsk, Rostov, Perm, St. Petersburg and many others, can easily deliver the maximum comfort to the destination of citizens who decided to spend their holidays in Gelendzhik. Tickets for the train can be booked in advance, and a small bus "walk" to the final resting place will not overshadow the path.
