Tilda-tulip own hands
Norwegian designer Tony Finnanger has once created a toy that has been conquering hearts for more than a decade and occupies the golden hands of skilled workers. It is Tilda is the embodiment of comfort and coziness. It is endowed with a huge positive energy and is able to bring anyone back into the world of childhood. But some dolls do not limit the tilde style. This is a whole soft and kind world, having both simple and virtuosic techniques for playing toys.
What is tulip tilde
Saying the word "tilde", we mean a whole world under it. It includes not only dolls with carefully thought out clothes and accessories, but also a variety of different toys, made in a primitive style. One of such primitive toy-souvenirs is the tilde tulips, the master-class for manufacturing of which will be considered in this article. These primitive flowers have managed to win the hearts of people around the world, striking with their simplicity and beauty at the same time.
Which fabrics are most preferable to make tilde flowers (tulips)
The most pleasant and cozy are tulips from fleece, although in fact you can use absolutely any fabric. Of course, green stems should be chosen for stems and leaves. Very interesting look stalks of tulips from checkered material or from cloth to peas. For buds the most effective will be satin, satin or any other shiny material. Here the most important thing is not to choose knitwear and too dense fabrics.
Tilda-tulips: MK. Tools and materials
First of all, you will need a tissue for buds, leaves and stems. Also needles and threads of all necessary colors. In addition to all of the above, you need scissors, a stick for stuffing and stuffing material. As the last one you can use sintepuh or holofayber.
Pattern of tulips
Tulips in the style of tilde, the pattern of which is presented in this article, are not at all complicated to sew. And their patterns are quite simple. True, it is worth noting that the buds have two types of pattern. Rather, it is not the form itself that is different, but the number of parts used to create buds. They can be two or four. Here, in fact, and all the difference.
Create a stem
Any tilde-tulip has a stem. We'll start with it. Take a rectangular piece designed for the stem of a flower. Fold it in half and spend a long side and one of the short ones. The second short remains unstrung for packing. After zastrachivaniya all allowances should be pruned and also cut off the corner and turn out the future stem. Do not cut the fabric against the seam. During the packing process, the stem may disperse. Now it remains to fill our detail. You can simply fill the stem with stuffing material, or you can strengthen it with a wire. Then your tilde-tulip can be bent and fixed in this position.
Making leaves
Any flower can not be imagined without leaves. Also tilde-tulips, photos of which you can see in this article, all contain at least one leaflet. Fold the two sheet details face to face, grind them or sweep and stitch them, leaving the bottom open to be turned. Ideally, if you have the opportunity to trim the allowance with scissors "zigzag". But if you do not have such scissors, then you can simply make notches with usual scissors in curved or specially protruding places. This is necessary so that when you turn the sheet, it was flat in all places and there were no unnecessary folds. Otutjujte the prepared turned out sheet and lay on a line a line. This will add to your sheet of elegance.
Create buds
The main and most beautiful part of the tulip in the tilde style is its bud. As mentioned above, it can consist of two or four parts. If you have not sewed anything special before, then opt for a bud that consists of two parts. To make it easier, and it will turn out much more neat. The principle of sewing is the same as that of the leaves. Sew two pieces, turn it around and stuff it into a good one. Unlike the leaves, of course, you do not need to otrastchivat edge. When the bud is packed, you need to tighten it tightly in the area of the lower edge and sew it to the stem using a secret seam.
Well, the tilde-tulip is ready. It remains for us only to sew a leaf somewhere in the middle of the stem and think over the design. It can be just a beautiful soft bouquet, tied with a suitable ribbon. Or you can "plant" several flowers in an improvised pot or box.
