The war in Syria does not cease

The war in Syria, which continues until now, began in spring 2011, March 15. It was carefully prepared and conducted according to the script already known in history. In fact, Syria was dragged by external forces into a civil war. Here came the "Arab spring". The uprising against Assad and the neo-Baathist government was well planned.

The war in Syria (also called the Syrian uprising) has become an ongoing conflict between supporters of the Baath Party government and its opponents.

In April 2011, to suppress the uprising, the Syrian army was ordered to open a direct fire on the demonstrators. The protests turned from a siege into an armed uprising. Now it is a conflict without designated fronts: military operations are taking place simultaneously across the country.

In general, the first structure of opposition in the country, which the West recognized as legitimate, was the Syrian National Council. By the way, he was created from the outside, by the West itself. But he did not meet the expectations of the US and was replaced by a new "legitimate government of Syria." In November 2012, the Coalition of Opposition and Revolution was established in Doha.

The war in Syria, whose causes lie more outside than inside the country, comes from the United States and its allies (the struggle for resources). Both "legitimate governments of Syria" were controlled by Muslim brothers. The provoked civil conflict was heated from the outside. Combat groups of the opposition during this time have grown both numerically and quantitatively. Among them were jihadists and al-Kaidovites. By its discipline and fanaticism, Jabhat al-Nusra is singled out, which the US State Department has already listed as a terrorist threat.

In addition to the opposition, the war in Syria involved other forces. They are special forces of Western countries and Qatar. Officially, the US does not supply weapons to the opposition in Syria. But this is only according to official data. In fact, the "oppositionists" go with the latest American weapons. The US, of course, acts by someone else's hands. The main flows of weapons come from the West, and from the East (from the Arab countries - Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, etc.). For the support of the Islamists are Washington, London and their allies.

The efforts of the West aimed at imposing sanctions on the regime, China and Russia are blocking so far. And it is not yet known how the problem of the crisis can be solved and how the war in Syria will end.

On January 2, 2013, the UN said that the number of dead in the war exceeded 60,000 people. Human rights groups reported that the main violations, however, were committed by the Syrian government. Therefore, the EU issued sanctions on the arms embargo on the Assad regime. At the same time, the US position is still not clearly expressed. The states believe that any alternative to the official government will not be a way out of the current situation, because radical Islamists take part in the war with the explicit support of Iran and Al Qaeda.

What is happening now around the country can, of course, be defined by the term "information war" in Syria. Its feature is the streaming information, continuously arriving and destroying the enemy. The West is constantly applying measures to ensure that the counter-information of the Syrian authorities does not go beyond the borders of the country.
