Victor Smirnov's story "Anxious month of fagot" lies at the heart of the series, which was twice filmed. The tape "Summer of wolves", the actors of which created a strong ensemble, was first introduced to the public in 1976 by filmmaker Leonid Osika. This outstanding master of cinema simply did not know how to shoot weak, passing films.

The new 2011 film "Summer of the Wolves" is not a remake of the old, Soviet, it's a picture of a different format and another artistic ideology. V. Smirnov's novella originally contained the necessary components for the series: a large number of characters, a sharp plot, in which it is possible to identify the elements of a thriller. And, finally, the very theme of the struggle with the "forest brothers", not cut off by fascist assistants, worries even today, decades later.

Briefly about the plot

Lieutenant of the Soviet army Ivan Kapelyuh after treatment of a serious wound in the hospital returns in the summer of 1944 to his village Glukhary, just released from the invaders. But his hopes for a warm welcome are not justified. No one particularly enjoys the meeting. Favorite girl Tosya avoids him, neighbors look askance. A worried about something grandmother asks him to be more careful.

Soon he accidentally finds a hanged soldier in the forest. Some time later a new crime occurs. And Ivan understands that the war for him has not ended, he is again at the front. Only the enemy is invisible and can lie in wait anywhere.

The director accurately indicated his priorities in the work on the picture, saying that the techniques should not be evident. Directing, in his opinion, should disappear, "dissolve" in the actors.

The main character: youth and experience

She plays Ivan the bride of Ivan, whose sister was killed by bandits. Nevertheless, Peresild managed to create a memorable image of Tasi - a loving and cordial girl, boldly taking the side of Ivan. An unforgettable impression of life fullness leaves the character of Maria Kulikova, who very convincingly played the razluchnitsu Varya in an unexpected dramatic scene, when Ivan, initially fascinated by her, finally expose Varya as a connected gangster detachment.

The bulk of the accusations focus on the problem of historical certainty - both in the depiction of the characters, and in the details of the environment of the 1940s.

In this case, there is some misunderstanding and misunderstanding of the genre nature of the film. After all, the main goal of the television series is still entertainment, the ability to cause empathy, excitement, a sense of fear or pleasure.

Deep analysis of events in the series is even contra-indicated in some ways. Do not overly "load" the viewer and break the already formed his view.
