The two-deck motor ship Vasily Chapaev was built at the Obuda Hajoguar plant in Budapest (Hungary) in 1964. It is a small river ship, but home-like cozy and comfortable. History of the ship

The vessel is named in honor of the commander of the Red Army, the legendary hero of films and the national favorite Vasily Chapaev. The very first he cruised in 2005 on the following route: from the river station in Moscow to Perm, then there was a call to Ufa and the way back to Moscow.

In 2009, the ship became a pioneer on the Sura River. And in 2011, during a tourist expedition, he went on a new route, exploring the banks of Sura, Vetluga and Vyatka. The tour was called "tributaries".

In 2013, the motor ship again became a pioneer among cruise ships that went to the river Vyatka. Continuing the traditions of the beginner, "Vasily Chapaev" in 2016 brought travelers to the city of Kirov.

Owners of the vessel

Immediately after construction, the ship operated under the direction of the Volga Shipping Company until 1980. The port of registration was Astrakhan. Reconstruction of the vessel

During the modernization, all the electrical wiring of the ship was changed, and a fire alarm was carried out. On the ship "Vasily Chapaev" navigation is carried out using the latest GPS-systems, installed radar and two modern diesel generators, thanks to the work of which it became possible to increase the consumption of electricity by passengers and personnel.
