The most unusual sport. Unusual sports in the world

People have always been interested in sports, but apparently due to the fact that popular competitions are already pretty bored and beat the records for them, ordinary amateurs can not, some start to come up with new competitions.

Unusual sports in the world

Fans of outdoor activities are constantly engaged in sports, but the standard rules become boring with time, and we have to look for alternative ways of entertainment, strengthening the body and getting the next dose of adrenaline.

To develop your own competitions is a rather difficult task, during which it is necessary to determine the rules, limitations and most importantly, to come up with the very type of competition. The easiest way is to take a popular match and modernize it to get the proper effect, such as diving and orienteering along the route, football in the mud and ice-kicking.

What is the most unusual sport? To this question, any athlete will answer that the best one is the one that he does. Therefore, in choosing the competition you need to focus on personal preferences, for example, a football fan will be in place in the same football, but in the mud.

Unusual sports in Russia

Russians, as well as residents of other countries of the world, begin to look at non-standard competitions, but in our country development is not so much "strange" kinds of competition as extreme.

The Tver region of Russia is actively gaining popularity among fans of conquering the icy peaks, orientating under the sea collects followers not only in the Volga region (Saratov, Kazan), but also in the northern parts of the country (Novosibirsk).

Unusual sport in Russia is interesting for athletes solely because of the increase in adrenaline, and not because of entertainment, because for fun it's easier to use ordinary types of competitions.

Boxer or chess player - who is stronger

Chess is a game for the mind, during which tactics of combat is developed , but, apparently, one thought was not enough, and decided to come up with a boxbox in which the competition is held both at the level of the mind and on the fists.

The fight of Shakhboks athletes consists of 5 boxing rounds and 6 chess games. Each of the boxing rounds lasts two minutes, while the game of chess takes 4 minutes for each round.

The winner is determined based on the number of points scored in the box and the victory in the chess game. But if the boxer won in chess, and lost in boxing (or vice versa) - a draw is declared.

Strange competitions on the beds

All people used to sleep on the bed, but someone from the US military (it was they who started the first competition in these unusual competitions) in 1965 decided to arrange races on the beds.

After some time, ordinary people were interested in non-standard sport, which led to its popularization.

The rules of races on the beds are simple - you need to overtake rivals and come to the finish line first, but there are 3 conditions: push the "bolide" should 6 people, there must be 1 participant in the bed, and the device must be able to swim.

On the one hand, this sport seems simple, but its complexity lies in the fact that before the finish the bed needs to be transported through a water obstacle, which creates a lot of difficulties for the athletes.

Drunken Racing

The group of cyclists decided to diversify the ride and began to conduct the competition, complementing the race with a lot of alcohol, well, and then connected the inhabitants of the city, the country and some parts of the world.

The essence of the race on bicycles is to come first, but in this case every athlete arriving at the checkpoint is obliged to drink a certain amount of beer and go on. The difficulty of the match is that the route can be laid through 6 points, and each one needs to drink a liter of beer, and it will be very difficult to get to the finish line, because it's hard for athletes to walk.

Fight under water

Military sailors undergo special training, during which they are taught the elimination of targets at great depths without visible vibrations of the water surface. The wrestlers understood the advantages of sports single combat in the water - strengthening the muscle mass, controlling the lungs - and began to practice underwater fighting as a new sport.

Competitions on aquatlon are held in the pool size of 5 to 5 meters and a minimum depth of 2 meters, and to win you need to remove the bandage from the ankle of the opponent.

Slippery extreme

There is a small category of people who love to conquer the peaks, but over time, the usual rocks can not meet the growing need for adrenaline, and the extremals go to the huge ice mountains.

Iceclimbing - this is the name of this unusual sport - does not yet have a large number of followers, but is actively practiced among professionals to conquer the peaks based on rock.

In fact, in this sport there are no rules, here the athlete simply conquers a new peak, but the difficulty of lifting allows you to get more adrenaline than regular mountains.

Underwater Racing

Orientation on the terrain is not an easy task, and it's even more difficult to go the certain way indicated on the map, being at a depth of several meters.

Underwater orienteering is a sport for those who like diving and are ready to be at great depth for quite a long time, and at the same time do not consider the flora, but concentrate searching for the next checkpoint.

The essence of the competition is that a group of divers should immerse themselves in the "A" point, go through all the control points, constantly being under water, and come first to the finish line.

The whole difficulty lies in the very orientation at the depth, where the only compass is the compass, without which it is impossible to reach the finish line.

Extreme flight

Parachute sports from the very beginning constantly gaining followers, but some extremals after conquering the heights cease to receive a splash of adrenaline and are thinking about changing the rules of the jump and increasing the dose of adrenaline.

Baysjumping is the most unusual sport, and in fact it is a skydiver jump from a huge building, bridge and other structures, and the whole danger lies in the immediate vicinity of the athlete to the structure from which he jumped and the lack of time to open the parachute.

During the flight, the extreme needs time to determine the correct position in the air, otherwise the parachute may unfold incorrectly and become entangled, after which the athlete will have a chance to open a spare parachute, but in this case there is no chance of an error, and if he jumps incorrectly, he can not to land.

Bejsjumping though allows to receive a huge splash of adrenaline, but in it only professionals can take part.
