The main word in every destiny is the parable of the mother

"Mother - the first word, the main word in every destiny" - is sung in a children's song. And no one will dare to argue with this, because without a mother there would be no life. Of course, very often we do not realize what role it plays in our lives, but at the same time our very birth without it is impossible. Therefore it is not surprising that literary works about women who have learned the sacrament of the birth of a child are so popular.

Parable of the mother - one of the most common literary stories. Why is he so famous?

King Solomon

Most often there is such kind of teachings as a parable about the love of the mother. Usually he associates with the sacrifice of a woman, her willingness to go for everything for the sake of a child, to give up any blessings, if only everything was good with the baby. One of the most famous legends with such a motive is the story of King Solomon and two neighbors.

One day two women came to the ruler, living side by side and recently become mothers. At night, one of them accidentally strangled her baby and put it in the neighbor's cradle, and took herself a living child. Naturally, in the morning the mother, having discovered the substitution, tried to return her crumbs, but the neighbor flatly refused to give the baby. Therefore she asked the king to judge them.

Solomon did not begin to think long - he ordered to cut the child in half, so that each woman received it. One of the quarrels arguing in the fires shouted that it would be even better: no one would be offended, but the other turned pale and asked to give the baby to her opponent.

With a smile, the king returned the baby to a second woman, who did not allow the execution of the terrible sentence of the court. After all, only the true mother, according to Solomon, is able to abandon his interests for the sake of saving the child.

Mom's Love

Another interesting parable about the mother tells of her attitude towards her children. One senior and the youngest son argued once, which one of them loves the mother more. Long argued, even fought, trying to prove their case, but never came to an agreement. Then they decided to go to the mother to ask her who was more dear to her.

After hearing the sons, the woman smiled, picked up a candle, lit it and placed it on the table in front of the children. "The flame," she said softly, "is my love for you, children," she took two more candles, set each one off the flame first and set all three in a row, "except that I shared this flame by several candles , It became smaller? Is it now that one of these smaller candles has less fire? "The boys, glancing at the lights, realized that Mom was right that the flame on all three wicks was exactly the same. Shame at them, they lowered their heads, not daring to ask the mother for forgiveness for a foolish argument, and she only hugged her sons and pressed her to him, as if defending from all misfortunes.

This parable about the mother proves that there are no favorite and unloved children, for my mother everyone is equal.

Apostate

Another interesting story, a little overlapping with the previous one, is a parable about a mother and a renegade son.

One woman was accused of witchcraft and sentenced to be burned at the stake. On the appointed day in the main square of the town the apple had nowhere to fall. The crowd was raving, demanded the execution of a witch, only the son of the condemned was silent, standing not far from the pillory. Suddenly someone shouted that one should also burn it: he is a descendant of a witch, then he carries evil in himself. The people had already picked up the young man in his arms, intending to take him in this way to the post, but his mother screamed with all her might: "This is not my son! I stole it! "Naturally, the young man was released, and the kidnapping of the child was added to the atrocities of the" witch ". The son watched in silence as the fire burned in which his mother perished. And he did not even try to disprove her last words, he renounced his mother in order to save his life.

A couple of years later it turned out that the woman was still innocent. Her good name was restored, but the son who refused his mother, people could not forgive.

This parable shows that not only the mother should be ready for everything for her child, but he must also respond to her the same.

"A mother's heart, falling on the threshold ..."

And, perhaps, the most famous teaching is the parable of the mother's heart. Someone says that the original of the legend belongs to the mountain people, while others say that everything began with author's history, which was later adapted by different nationalities. But the idea is still shared.

The young man fell in love with a beautiful girl. But no matter how hard he tried, he could not even achieve her gracious glance. The young man promised that he would get everything that he wanted for his beloved, would go to any feat, if only she was with him. And then the cruel beauty demanded from the unfortunate lover to bring her the heart of his mother.

The young man decided on a terrible crime. After killing his mother, he cut out the heart from her breast, wrapped it in a rag and carried it to the girl. On the way to his beloved, he stumbled and fell. And my mother's heart, hitting the dusty road, only asked quietly: "Do not hurt yourself, son?"

This famous story once again emphasizes the sacrifice and heroism of women who are ready for anything for their child.

Conclusion

The parable of the mother is almost an independent branch in this literary genre. Such stories are always full of wisdom, examples of the greatest sacrifice and, perhaps, the purest love to which only the mother is capable.
