The main drug and its analogue: "Imudon" and "IRS-19"

One of the most important functions of the human body is the provision of cellular and humoral immunity. Protection from harmful substances in the norm is carried out constantly. This is due to the continuous operation of the immune system, which is able to produce special cells - antibodies. They appear as soon as antigens are detected, they can be: viruses, bacteria fungi, parasites, foreign bodies. With the weakening of the body, immunity does not work in full force, so it is necessary to stimulate it. To this end, pharmacologists have developed artificial protection, that is, its analogue. "Imudon" is a drug that promotes the production of antibodies. In addition to this, there are other medicines that affect the protective properties of the body.

What can I replace the drug "Imudon"?

If it is impossible or unwilling to buy a medicine, you can pick up its counterpart. "Imudon" can be replaced with the drug "Transfer Factor", which has the same indications for use, but it has fewer side effects. These tablets are more expensive, but one package is equated to a full course of treatment with the drug "Imudon". If the patient can not afford it, then a more accessible remedy should be advised. The cheap analogue of "Imudon" is the medicine "IRS-19". This drug has the same effect, since it also contains bacterial lysates. Most often it is used in addition to antibiotics and antiviral agents. Its advantage is that it is more accessible and widely distributed.

The medication and its analogue: "Imudon" and "IRS-19"

In order for the natural immunity of the organism to work in full force, it must be stimulated. The preparations "Imudon" and "IRS-19" are created according to the principle of the action of antigens. They contain the most common types of bacteria and fungi that cause inflammation in the body. These pathogens are contained in preparations in the form of lysates, that is, their particles, which are dissolved by enzymes. Such a composition allows not only to elicit an immune response, but also not to infect the organism with bacteria. Among the microbial particles of the drug can be identified: Staphylococcus aureus, fungi of the genus Candida, lactobacillus, enterococci, the stick of Flidlander, Plaut, etc. In addition to the main components, the medicines contain: lactose, citric acid, glycine, mannitol and other auxiliary substances.

The drug "Imudon": application

Spheres of the drug are dentistry and maxillofacial surgery. Most often it is used in inflammatory processes of the oral cavity, which can be localized on the inner surface of the lips, gums, palate, mucous membrane. Indications for use are such diseases as stomatitis, gingivitis, periodontitis, dysbacteriosis, pericornitis, tonsillitis, glossitis, pharyngitis. All these problems are caused by a decrease in the protective properties of the body, therefore, stimulation requires the use of immunomodulators. In addition, the drug is used as a preoperative preparation for the removal of tonsils, as well as in the recovery period. The drug "Imudon" has an analgesic effect in the oral cavity, and also helps to get rid of the unpleasant odor.

Contraindications to the use of the drug and its analogues

Despite the high activity with respect to immune function, medications should be used with great care by people who have significantly reduced the protection system. This group includes pregnant women and children up to three years old. Absolute contraindication to the use of the drug "Imudon" and its analogues is an allergic reaction to one or more of its components. The reaction may occur as a rash, swelling, or urticaria. Among the side effects noted violations of the digestive system: nausea, vomiting, stool and abdominal pain. The drug "Imudon" and its analogs can be used when taking other medications, since the interaction with them does not cause side effects.

Pediatric Use

The use of drugs "Imudon" and "IRS-19" for children differs from its use for adults only by dosage. Persons between 3 and 14 years of age are prescribed 6 tablets per day, which are intended for resorption. The indications are the same as in adults. Children up to 3 years of use of the drug and its analogs are not recommended because the immune system is not formed to the end, so the introduction of antigens is undesirable. Do not forget that drugs are a kind of "vaccination" from pathogens, so they can be used as a prevention of chronic inflammation of the oral cavity and upper respiratory tract.

At any infectious process it is necessary to address to the doctor who will write out not only immunomodulating means, but also will help to eliminate the cause of the disease (bacterial, viral, fungal etiology).
