The United States of America is the fourth largest country in the world with a population of 325 million people. The state is divided into 50 states, each of which has its own laws. It is curious that the States, in spite of their vast expanses, border (on land) only with two states - Canada and Mexico. The US is a multinational country. The settlers began to come here since the end of the XIX century, from various parts of the world. Some came to the States in search of a better life, others fled from reprisals from the former USSR, Yugoslavia, etc. In the United States, migrants settled, as a rule, compactly. So here formed the Italian, Jewish, Russian, Chinese quarters, who managed to preserve the culture and traditions of their countries.

Canada is a country of mountains, lakes and maple syrup

Canada is 20% of the freshwater resources of the planet, 50% of the world population of polar bears and about 80% of the maple syrup produced on Earth. And the maple leaf on the flag of this state is not at all random. And it's the Canadians (and not the Americans, as many people think) who invented basketball.

Mexico - the country of cacti and contrasts
