The influence of alcohol on the human body

Alcohol refers to certain types of drinks that contain ethyl alcohol. If earlier alcohol consumption was recognized as a harmful social phenomenon and only, in 1975 it was confirmed that for the person who consumes alcohol, it is the hardest depressant.

Despite the fact that there is a wide anti-alcohol propaganda around the world, the level of consumption of alcohol-containing products does not decrease, and distilleries are enterprises with the most enviable income.

The influence of alcohol on the human body is obviously not fully reported by modern propagandists, so the majority of the uninformed population continues to consume alcohol and succumb to its harmful effects.

Most often, people who drink alcohol, actively support the myths about alcoholic beverages, which allegedly have positive properties. For example, many still believe that alcohol can warm in cold weather, although scientists enough argue that the muscles slow down their work, vessels narrow, mental activity slows down. All the instincts that are aimed at self-preservation, blunted, which once again proves the harmful effects of alcohol on the brain.

When drinking alcohol, we see only the appearance of alcohol - a state of intoxication. However, this is only the tip of the iceberg. The rest of the influence of alcohol on the human body occurs at the cellular level. Since alcohol is an excellent solvent, when it gets into the blood, it deprives the erythrocytes of their natural defense and promotes gluing together. Because of this, red blood cells can stick together into larger formations and prevent the blood from passing through the vessels until they completely overlap. Especially it is dangerous in cold weather, when the vessels are narrowed. And if a feeling of warming is created, it is only a rise in pressure due to the inability of the blood to circulate freely. This is connected with the influence of alcohol on the nervous system - in the brain neurons simply do not receive nutrition because of the obstruction of the smallest capillaries. As a result, a fifteen-billionth composition of nerve cells in the brain during alcohol intoxication constantly suffers from oxygen deficiency, and a significant part of these cells die. Since this part is micronecrosis and the cells no longer perceive information coming from outside, the brain feels a state of freedom, euphoria and volgotness - this is the basic condition, because of which alcohol is used. The higher processes of perception, and then the primitive ones, suffer first.

However, the effect of alcohol on the human body does not stop there. When ingested in the esophagus and stomach, alcohol burns the walls, thereby damaging the delicate glandular cover of these organs. As a consequence - digestive problems that can lead to stomach ulcer and provoke cancer.

Irreversible changes overtake the pancreas, because the cells that are responsible for insulin production are dying, which means that people who drink alcohol directly face the incidence of diabetes mellitus.

Quite a textbook became cirrhosis of the liver - it is this disease that most often frighten alcoholics. And not in vain, because under the influence of alcohol contained in alcoholic beverages, liver cells die, and in their place a connective tissue is formed that does not fulfill the function of cells that have died. Because of the increased pressure from squeezing the vessels in the liver, capillaries and arteries can burst, which leads to internal bleeding.

The unfavorable influence of alcohol on the human body has been proven for a long time, but due to the fact that people have an attachment to this product, it is very difficult to quit drinking , and many need a long rehabilitation.
