The drug Polidex (nose spray) is used in otorhinolaryngology in infectious states of the upper tract: sinusitis and rhinopharyngitis of various forms. The composition of the drug Polidex includes the following components: antibiotics (neomycin, polymyxin B), as well as dexamethasone, phenylephrine. The combination of antibiotics contributes to a stronger therapeutic effect. Description of the preparation

The component of the drug phenylephrine hydrochloride narrows the vessels of the nasal mucosa. This helps to reduce swelling of the tissues.
