Medicines, the active ingredient of which is nimesulide, have an anti-inflammatory and significant analgesic effect. Such is the non-steroidal drug "Naise". The drug has a multifactorial and very fast mechanism of action, including an inhibitory effect on the enzyme COX-2 (one of the cyclooxygenase isoforms that regulates the formation of prostaglandins from the arachidonic acid). Therefore, in the treatment of a wide range of inflammatory processes, the Naise drug is used. The instruction recommends its use for the treatment of acute pain, symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis and primary dysmenorrhea (a cyclic pathological condition during menstruation, manifested by severe pain in the abdomen) in adolescence and adulthood. Nimesulide has increased safety for the gastrointestinal tract compared to other NSAIDs.

Always with special care is prescribed the drug "Nyz". The instruction warns patients with heart failure, arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus type 2. But for older people, there is no need to adjust the dosage regimen. Long-term use of this drug requires systematic monitoring of kidney and liver function. The occurrence of adverse reactions (in the form of heartburn, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, gastralgia, ulceration of the gastrointestinal mucosa, headache, dizziness, fluid retention, allergic reactions, including skin rash, anaphylactic shock) is a signal to seek medical advice . Despite the fact that there are a lot of drugs containing nimesulide, it is not recommended to replace "Nyz" with any of the analogs without prescribing a doctor.

A drug overdose "Naise" is dangerous. The instruction describes its symptoms. These include drowsiness, lethargy, nausea, vomiting, gastrointestinal bleeding, and hypertension. There may be pain in the epigastric region, respiratory depression, acute renal failure, anaphylactic reactions, and coma. In the case of an overdose, you can not use any antidote, since it simply does not exist, so the doctor prescribes symptomatic therapy. In the first four hours after the onset of any of these symptoms, the patient is washed with a stomach and given activated charcoal. Hemodialysis in this case is not effective. Care should be taken when prescribing the drug, if such drugs as "Phenytoin", "Digoxin", diuretics, lithium preparations, other NSAIDs, antihypertensives, antidiabetics, "Cyclosporine" and "Methotrexate" are prescribed simultaneously with nimesulide. Therefore, self-treatment "Naizom" is not allowed.
