The drug "Heparin-Acrigel 1000" is an anticoagulant drug of external application, which has a light anti-edematous, anti-inflammatory and antithrombotic effect. The drug is a clear, colorless or slightly yellowish gel with a characteristic odor.

The active substance is heparin. Auxiliary components: methylparahydroxybenzoate, trometamol, rectified ethyl alcohol, carbomer, neroli oil, lavender oil, distilled water.

Heparin has an antithrombotic effect, relieves inflammation, improves microcirculation, speeds up tissue metabolism, thereby reducing swelling, blood clots and bruises dissolve.

The drug is produced in aluminum tubes, which are packed in cardboard boxes with instructions for use. The tube can contain 20, 30, 40, 50 grams of the drug.

Prepret "Heparin-Acrigel" is prescribed for superficial thrombophlebitis, edema and infiltrates in soft tissues, joint and soft tissue injuries, joint and tendon injuries, hemorrhoids, elephantiasis, subcutaneous hematomas, lymphangitis, superficial mastitis, thrombosis of hemorrhoidal veins, superficial periphlebitis.

After application to the skin, the heparin gel prevents thrombus formation, has a slight anti-inflammatory, local analgesic and antiexudative action. Heparin reduces the activity of hyaluronidase, prevents the formation of thrombin.

In this case, heparin poorly penetrates through intact skin, so the drug does not have a systemic effect.

The drug is applied to the affected area with a thin layer and wiped gently into the skin with caution. The gel is taken at a rate of 3 cm per 3 cm in diameter. Apply every day once or three times a day. The duration of application depends on the speed of healing. The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor. On average, the drug is applied to a sore spot from three to seven days before the lesions completely disappear.

Do not use the drug "Heparin-Acrigel" at the same time as other local drugs. Heparin is not compatible with antibiotics of the tetracycline group, antihistamine, anti-inflammatory non-steroid drugs.

The components of the gel are poorly absorbed, so the use of the gel does not lead to an overdose. Cases of overdose due to the administration of heparin are not described. Long-term use of the drug may lead to the development of hemorrhagic processes. In this case, the drug is canceled and, if necessary, a 1% solution of protamine sulfate is administered .
