The delay in the mental development of the child (CPD) - what is it?

Today we will try to understand one reduction, which causes fear for many parents. DPR - what is it? Is this state of correction?

ZPR is interpreted as a delay in mental development. I wonder how the doctor determines this? By the way, it is not so rare that these three letters appear in the map of the child being watched.

What exactly includes the diagnosis of ZPR

Recently, the problem of DWD is of keen interest. After all, in fact, such a diagnosis is too ambiguous. Behind him there is a mass of all possible preconditions and reasons that caused this deviation. As a rule, we are not talking about severe underdevelopment of speech, motor functions or vision and hearing. The problem is precisely the difficulties for a particular child in training and adaptation in this or that environment, caused by a slowing down of the development of the psyche. For each child, it manifests itself in different ways, differing in time and extent of manifestations.

How to determine the RDA: what is it for an individual child

The delay in development manifests itself most clearly in the immaturity of the emotional-volitional sphere. The child is hard to force himself to do anything. And this inevitably leads to a violation of attention: it is unstable, the child is easily distracted, can not concentrate on one lesson. To this, as a rule, one more characteristic symptoms are added: speech and motor activity.

In medicine, this is referred to as attention deficit disorder, hyperactivity: the child turns, can not stand still, can not wait for the queue in the game, responds without listening to the question until the end, he can not speak or play quietly.

Disturbance of thinking and speech with DPR

What is it is now clear. CPR is often expressed in the rate of speech development. As a rule, a child with this problem communicates more attention to gestures and intonation, having a limited vocabulary. Infringements thus are reversible character, giving in to correction. Every year a child more and more catches up with his peers, overcoming speech insufficiency.

Observed in such children and lag in all forms of thinking (analysis, synthesis, synthesis, comparison). They can not distinguish, for example, the main features in the generalization. Answering the question: "How can you call a dress, trousers, socks, a sweater in one word?" - such a child will say: "This is all that is necessary for a person" or "This is all in our closet". At the same time, children with DET can supplement the proposed group of subjects without difficulty. When comparing objects, this process is carried out by random signs. "How do people differ from animals?" - "People walk in coats, and animals - no."

The problems of communicative adaptation of children with PEP, what is it?

A distinctive feature of children with CPD is the problematic interpersonal relations for them both with peers and with adults. The need for communication in these children is reduced. With regard to the adults on whom they depend, many have increased anxiety. New people of such children attract far less than new subjects. When problems arise, the child will soon stop working, rather than turn to someone for help.

To "warm" relationships with peers, children with PEP are, as a rule, not ready, reducing them to purely "business" ones. And the games take into account the interest of only one side, and the rules are always of a strict nature, excluding any variations.
