All the concepts of personality in sociology are associated with its social properties. In order for an individual to become a person, he must live and act in the human society. After all, the concept of personality in sociology is defined as a subject of relations and conscious activity, possessing stable qualities of socially significant features. In this regard, the typology of personality in sociology identifies two types of characteristics.

In the first case, it is an active participant in actions that is determined by him freely and is aimed at understanding and changing the world. Another concept of personality in sociology is considered through the set of functions and roles assigned to it in society. Through them, he manifests himself and acts in accordance with the emerged situations and circumstances. As an example, two different relationships between older and younger members of the clan and modern society can be cited.

At the same time, performing several roles, for example, an employee, a family man, an athlete and others, the person commits such acts in which he manifests himself consciously and actively, but in different ways. He can be a good family man, but not a very diligent worker, and vice versa. A real person can not be indifferent to either side of his life activity. She does not allow indifference and indifference.
