There is every reason to believe that the island has the oldest forests in the world, so far there are areas that the human foot has not stepped on. Long-term isolation has affected the appearance and abilities of local inhabitants. Most of the representatives of the Borneo fauna differ in their harmlessness, but there are predatory species, even among plants.

Only in this corner of the planet can you find the smallest rhinoceroses, dwarf elephants, bears the size of a dog, monkey-noses, the longest snakes - mesh pythons, very beautiful and absolutely safe smoky leopards. In addition, very interesting representatives of the flora grow on Borneo: several species of rafflesia, whose flowers reach a meter in diameter and are "fragrant" with rotten meat, and also non-pentes are the largest predatory plant capable of digesting not only an insect, but also a mouse, lizard or rat .

A lot of pleasant emotions and new impressions will give visitors to the island of Borneo. Malaysia hospitably meets foreign tourists, its island territory is divided into two provinces: Sabah and Sarawak. The first is more full of various entertainments, therefore the majority of holiday-makers stops here. In Sabah is the largest mountain of southern Asia - Kinabalu. Ascent and descent from it take about 2 days, but give an opportunity to enjoy the forest life and the surrounding nature.
