High bonnet and brutal body lines make the car really off-road, although it belongs to the class of urban crossovers.

According to the company's employees, the novelty will no longer be equipped with an old 1.6-liter injector engine. In its place will come a more economical 1.2-liter unit, whose capacity is 113 horsepower. The peak of its torque dies at around 190 Nm. In addition, in the updated line of engines there are diesel engines. There will be two. What capacity will be at the first unit, the manufacturer still keeps a secret, but the second one has all the data, including technical characteristics. Nissan Qashqai in diesel versions will have a 4-cylinder engine with a volume of 1600 cubic centimeters. The power of this engine is about 215 "horses". The whole line is supplied either by a variator or by a mechanical transmission at 5 and 6 stages.

In Russia an SUV will appear not earlier than in half a year, but the manufacturer has already named the exact price for Nissan. Depending on the chosen equipment, it will range from 850 to 900 thousand rubles. Approximate start of sales of new items is planned for the spring of 2014.
