Symmetrical drawing of objects of the correct form

If you think for a moment and imagine something in your mind, then in 99% of cases the figure that came to mind will be the correct form. Only 1% of people, more precisely their imagination, will draw an intricate object that looks completely wrong or disproportionate. This is rather an exception to the rules and refers to non-traditional reflecting personalities with a special view of things. But going back to the absolute majority, it is necessary to say that a significant proportion of the correct items still prevail. The article will deal exclusively with them, namely the symmetrical drawing of those.

Picture of the correct objects: just a few steps to the finished drawing

Before you start to draw a symmetrical object, you need to choose it. In our version it will be a vase, but even if it does not remind you what you decided to depict, do not despair: all steps are absolutely identical. Stick to the sequence and everything will turn out:

  1. All items of regular shape have a so-called central axis, which for symmetrical drawing should definitely be highlighted. To do this, you can even use the ruler and draw a straight line through the center of the album sheet.
  2. Next, carefully look at the chosen object and try to transfer its proportions to a piece of paper. It is not difficult to do this, if on both sides of the line drawn in advance, to outline the light strokes that will later become the outlines of the drawn object. In the case of a vase, it is necessary to distinguish the neck, bottom and the widest part of the body.
  3. Do not forget that symmetrical drawing does not tolerate inaccuracies, so if there are some doubts about the intended strokes, or you are not sure of the correctness of your own eye, double-check the delayed distances with the ruler.
  4. The last step is to connect all the lines together.

Symmetric drawing is available to computer users

Due to the fact that most of the objects around us have the right proportions, in other words, symmetrical, the developers of computer applications have created programs in which it is easy to draw absolutely everything. It's enough to download them and enjoy the creative process. However, remember, the machine will never become a replacement for the sharpened pencil and album sheet.
