Constant festivals and costumed morning performances force dads and moms to maximize their imagination for creating different images. Today we will tell you how to make a pea suit with your own hands.

What will be required for a pea suit

Let's imagine peas. It is such a green pod, in the middle of which there are large salad peas. On top of the pod stick out the antennae. Approximately such components should be present in our suit.

There are quite a few manufacturing options. The easiest way to create a pea suit for children is to find a suitable jersey and green trousers and decorate them with decorative elements. Separately make a hat.

The beginning of the drawing is point A. From it, measure down the length to the waist (28 cm) and mark it. From point A, draw down a distance equal to the total length of the vest (50 cm or more), draw a straight line. To the right of point A it is necessary to postpone half of the waist circumference plus 3 cm (33 cm). This will be the point A1. Another line, proceeding down from the point A, is the depth of the armhole (16.5 cm).

Divide the distance AA1 in half and draw a vertical axis. At the intersection of the depth of the armhole and the vertical axis, put the point Г2.

Draw an armhole. To do this, you need to calculate its width. Divide the half of the chest by 4, add 1 cm: 32: 4 + 1 = 9 cm. From point D2 measure to the right and left 4.5 cm. These will be the points of G and G1. Move vertically up from G and G1. At the intersection, get the points Π and Π1.

Draw the neckline of the backrest. To do this, at a distance of 5.2 cm from point A to the right, lift the line upwards by 1.5 cm. In a semicircle, connect this point with A, and draw the oblique line to P, as shown in the drawing.

The neckline is drawn a little differently. Point A1 should be raised by 2 cm and from this obtained mark to the left and downwards measure 5.2 cm. Connect in a semicircle. Carry out a slant to P1.

The bottom of the vest needs to be sharpened a little. Front and back level should be more than on the sides.

Sew the waistcoat

Bottom, armholes armholes, neckline grind. The two received details are sewn along the sides and on the shoulders. The costume of peas for children is half ready. Side it is desirable to insert a zipper or sew buttons to make it easier to wear.

The length of this "crown" should be approximately 40 cm. In height, on the larger side - 20 cm, with less - 12. Cut out of the cardboard two crescents. Cover them with green paper.

The entire structure should be attached to the main rim, which is worn on the head. It's very easy to make it: measure the girth of the head and cut out a strip of this size from the cardboard. Glue it and get the base for the pod.

Green crescents from the larger side. You can sew for reliability. Inside place the rim and connect the crescents from the smaller side. In the middle, put the peas. Secure them with glue or thread.
