The third interchange route of the Moscow metro: the scheme and the beginning of work

The third interchange route of the Moscow metro is the working name of the line, which is supposed to connect the prospective and existing radial branches. This would relieve the operating stations. Next, we will consider how the project of the third metro interchange is being implemented.

Prerequisites for the development

As you know, Moscow is the largest city in Russia with the most extensive underground transportation system. The project of the third metro transfer line became the embodiment of the idea, which appeared in 1985. It consisted in creating high-speed chordal branches to connect remote areas with central regions. In total it was planned to build 4 lines. The sections between their intersection would have become the 3rd landing loop.

New stage

In 2005, the plan for the third interchange of the Moscow Metro was again presented. By this time, the construction of a node consisting of a station on the lower level of the MIBC City Center (Business Center) and the Khodynka Field station, where the Grand Park residential complex was being built, was being completed. Together with this, the first section of the third interchange line of the Moscow metro - Solntsevskaya Line - was erected with interruptions and delays. In this regard, it was decided to begin construction of the TPK as a separate branch. As a start-up section, a section from Art. "Business Center" to "Dynamo".

Initial stage of implementation

The initial design of the launch site was based on the 2nd version of the feasibility study for the extension of the Kalinin branch between the "Delovoy Tsentr" and "Narodnoye militia" stations and then to Strogino. It was decided to combine the Kalinin and Solntsevsky radii. As a result of this "liberated" two sites. They were part of the line "Solntsevo-Mytischi" (from the "Business Center" towards "Begovaya"), then "VDNKh", and then - the extension of the Kalininsky section to the "People's Militia". At the same time, they decided to abandon the line of the first radius. Instead, the development was to receive a line from the "Business Center" through the Shelepinsky Bridge, "Magistralnoye" to the station. "Mnevniki". From the last station, the branch was traced to "Dinamo" and passed through the area "Khodynka Field". In this territory, buildings were not planned at the time of line design and the creation of a feasibility study for the Kalininsky segment. It was this area that became the cornerstone in the construction of the TPK.

Prospective stations

In accordance with the original idea, the third interchange route of the Moscow metro at the launch site was to include 9 stations. They should be:

  1. "Shmitovskaya".
  2. Shelepihinskaya.
  3. "Olympic".
  4. "Krasnopresnensky Prospect".
  5. "Polezhaevskaya".
  6. "Khodynka Field-1".
  7. "Khodynka Field-2".
  8. "Leningrad avenue."
  9. "Dynamo".

The total length of the site is 9.7 km. For five years (from 2005 to 2010), construction was not carried out. In 2011, the project was intensified, and it was again discussed. Along with this, the previous schemes were also adjusted. Thus, the total length of the former site was reduced to 9.1 km, the number of prospective stations to six. A new line was added to the first line. It was supposed to build a line from the station. "Petrovsky Park" ("Dynamo") to the "Lower Maslovka." The length of the branch is 1.9 km.

Issues of further development

The second ring of the metro (the third interchange circuit) was constructed unevenly. In the scheme, comparative clarity was relative to the northern radius. In particular, the line from the "Lower Maslivka" went through the stations "Maryina Roshcha", then "Riga", "Krasnoselskaya", then "Baumanskaya" and "Lefortovo" to the station. "Aviamotornaya". From there, the Kozhukhov branch began. What should be the third interchange route of the Moscow metro in the southern radius, remained unclear. At the end of 2011, a proposal was proposed to merge the northern and southern radii. As a result, the third interchange route of the Moscow metro should pass from the "Khoroshevskaya" through the "People's Militia" (the intersection with the Zhukov Avenue), then along the BKL route to the Kuntsevskaya through Nizhny Mnevniki, Michurinsky Prospect, Vernadsky ", then" Kaluga ", then" Kakhovskaya "with the addition of this line, then from" Kashirskaya "through the station. "Nagatinsky zaton", further - art. "Pechatniki" and "Tekstilshchiki", "Nizhny Novgorod street" and closed on the station. "Aviamotornaya". In this form the TPK designated the Resolution of the Government of the capital on May 4, 2012. It is assumed that the third metro transfer line will be launched by 2018.

Development of the starting segment

In the case of the implementation of the above option, the fate of the launch site from "Khoroshevskaya" to the "Business Center" station becomes unclear. This segment was not abandoned, although it is not included in the general scheme of the TPK as a ring. The construction of this line continues as a part of the starting branch, but its further perspective has not been determined. It was suggested to return to the initial version of the feasibility study for the continuation of the Kalininskaya line. In accordance with it, the segment from Art. "Business Center" through Art. "Shelepikha" and another intermediate would last until "People's Militia". The last point was supposed to be a transplant. Then the branch would go through Pr. M. Zhukov to the station. "Picturesque." In this case, the Shelepikha-Khoroshevskaya branch would become a double-track connecting line, and the whole section would be an independent radius.

New adjustments

They occurred in the spring of 2012. It was suggested to conduct a segment from the "Riga" to the station. "Aviamotornaya" not through Art. "Krasnoselskaya" and "Baumanskaya", but according to "Sokolniki" and "Electrozavodskaya". This option will greatly simplify the construction and allow you to move the line from Koltsevoy even further. After the re-traverse, only one deep section was envisaged for the whole of the WPK - from Art. "Lower Maslivka" to the station. "Marina Grove".

Features of the construction scheme

The plan, which was supposed to implement the creation of the third transfer loop, allowed in the future to return, if necessary, to the chord version with the possibility of creating both a route and the absolute separation of the branch into separate segments. To implement this task in 2012, the scheme was amended. Thus, 4 four-way interchange nodes were designed. They are parallel stations with cross-platform (combined) sections and 2 sets of congress chambers. This will allow organizing the movement along any necessary route. As such nodes are Art. "Marina Grove", "Nizhny Novgorod Street.", "Nagatinsky Zaton" and art. "Aminevskoe highway." As the information of the site "Metrostroy" indicates, the third transfer line (Moscow) was started to be built by "SMU Ingeokom" LLC. Development of the scheme of the launch site from the "Business Center" to the station. "Lower Maslivka" was carried out by Metrogiprotrans. The design of the rest of the branch was performed initially by Mosinzhproekt.

Course of construction

Judging by the way the program is currently being implemented, many citizens are of the opinion that the third interchange metro circuit will be built at the turn of the 2019-2020 period. The construction of the branches began in November 2011. In the following, 2012, on August 1, the installation of one tunnel began in the direction of the "Business Center". Initially, it was planned to transit through Art. "Khoroshevskaya" and "Shelepikha". However, the work was rather difficult and only in December 2013 was completed. By that time, the passage of two more tunnels was started: the right (eastern) and left (western) tunnels.

Together with this in 2013, the scheme was again slightly modified. Thus, the station "Maryina Roshcha" was redesigned into a small plot. Its location was shifted to the north. As a result, only the station "Lower Maslivka" remained a site of deep seabed. It was suggested that a part of the tunnels should be built with double-track ones, using a larger diameter TPMC than on other segments. In 2014, the passage of the right (eastern) section began. It ran from the station. "Khodynka Field" to the "Petrovsky Park". This was the last of the four tunnels adjoining the Khodynka Field. In May of the same year began the passage of the left (western) segment. In September 2014, it was decided to abandon the construction of chordal branches. As a result, the construction of three combined transplant stations has ceased to be necessary. However, due to the fact that the circuit remained Kozhuhovskaya branch, "Nizhny Novgorod Street" will be 4-haputnoy.

Works in 2015

Today, the opening of foundation pits Art. "Khoroshevskaya" and art. "Shelepikha", the passage of four tunnels. Concrete works are also performed at the stations "Petrovsky Park", "Khodynka Field". In addition, the TPMK is installed for two more tunnel sections, work is carried out on 2 inclined tracks and trunks of the station "Lower Maslivka". Initially, the site was planned for the current year, 2015, the year. However, due to a number of difficulties and delays, the completion of work was postponed to the next, 2016th. If the work is carried out at such a pace, it is likely that the third interchange route of the Moscow Metro will be opened by 2020.

Temporary scheme of operation

The decision to introduce it was announced in February 2015. Presumably, the movement of trains along the launch site and the Solntsevo section of the TPK will be combined with the construction of a two-way connecting segment (distillation) between the Victory Park and Shelepikha. Earlier it was planned to build a connecting single-track branch. This is due to the fact that the beginning of the construction of the central segment of the Kalininsko-Solntsevo site is postponed for even later periods. As a result, most of the passengers traveling along this stretch would have to change planes on the Victory Park to the loaded Arbat-Pokrovskaya branch. If traffic is organized along two lines, more passengers will be able to use the new nodes. As a result, foreseen organization of forklift routes, according to which four of the five trains of the Solntsevo branch will follow from the Ramenki station via the Victory Park to the TPK section to Petrovsky Park. At the same time, one train from "Victory Park" will proceed to the "Business Center". Under this scheme, the last station will not be entered together with the starting site. At the beginning of April 2015 several stations of the third transfer loop received design names. So, instead of the "Riga" now "Rzhevskaya", "Marina Grove" became "Sheremetevskaya", "Kuntsevskaya" was named "Mozhayskaya", "Nizhny Novgorod street" became st. "Karacharovo".

Finally

As you can see, the project of the third transfer loop has a large scale. Its main task is to unload the main branch of the subway. It is, in particular, the stations near the Ring Line. It should be noted that as of April 2013, three TPMKs and 1,400 workers were involved in 24 sections of the TPK priority segment, the length of which was 13.7 km. Undoubtedly, the implementation of this project has a special social and economic significance for the capital. Not only domestic, but also foreign specialists were involved in the development of the scheme.
