The future writer was born in 1937 in the small town of Yegoryevsk, which is located in the Moscow region. His parents were educated people, they had engineering education. Until 1944, the family lived in the Urals.

Back in Moscow, the future writer went to school, but did not study very well. Only in the seventh grade he began to make progress in his studies, he was best given mathematics. A great role in Edward's enthusiasm for reading was played by stepfather Nikolai Stepanovich Pronsky, who had a huge library, carefully stored books and forbade them to exchange them for food.

The first experiments in versification refer to the time when the young Ouspensky studied in the ninth grade. At that time writing was a fad. Poetic works of Uspensky were published in literary newspapers and sounded from radio receivers. A great role in the development of Uspensky as a writer of children's books was played by the experience of working in the camps as a pioneer leader.

Adult Uspensky

Becoming a student of the capital aviation institute, Eduard Uspensky continued to engage in literary activity. Having graduated in 1961 higher education institution, he went to work in the plant in his specialty. Together with G. Gorin, A. Arkanov and F. Kamov, the writer took part in the creation of the book "Four under one cover", which in a short time became popular. Thanks to this, Eduard Uspensky and Felix Kamov organized the student theater "TV". The success was colossal.

Later, the writer became the founder of the programs "Good night, kids", "ABVGDeyka", "Baby Monitor", "The ships came to our harbor". For his creative work he was awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland of the IV degree.

Eduard Uspensky was married three times. From the first marriage he has a daughter Tatiana, from the second brother - daughters Irina and Svetlana. The third marriage with Eleanor Filin fell apart in 2011, the couple did not have children.

Creative activity of the writer

1965 was marked by the publication of a collection of poems by Eduard Uspensky "Everything is in order", which was immediately recognized by readers. However, the most famous works of Uspensky are books for a children's audience. Crocodile Gena and Cheburashka, Uncle Fyodor, Matroskin and Sharik, postman Pechkin - there is hardly a child who does not know these characters. It was thanks to Uspensky that the children's animation series "Fixiki" appeared, which is so loved by modern young spectators. It is based on the story of Assumption "Guaranteed Man", born in 1974.

Cheburashka is one of the most famous heroes created by this author. Together with his friends - the crocodile Gena, the doll Galya, the dvoychnik Dima, the excellent Marusya - he opened the House of Friendship. This event formed the basis of the story " Crocodile Gena and his friends." This work was written in a prosaic form, before that Ouspensky wrote verse texts. The heroes of the writer so fell in love with the audience that from his pen came a few more stories, stories and plays in which friends were waiting for new exciting adventures.

In 2012, the Russian Ministry of Education and Science included the first story about the adventures of the crocodile Gena and Cheburashka in the list of hundred books that are recommended to middle-aged students for independent reading.

A cycle of stories about Uncle Fyodor

For many years, Ouspensky's works about a boy named Uncle Fyodor and his friends - animals: a cat named Matroskin and a dog named Sharik have been a huge success among readers. The first story from this cycle was published in 1974. In total, the cycle included seven books. Tales of Uspensky were so popular that they formed the basis for animated films. In the period from 1975 to 2011, five cartoons came to the TV screens telling of the adventures of the clever boy Uncle Fyodor and his talking friends - animals.

The last was the cartoon "Spring in Prostokvashino." Matroskin and Sharik receive a letter from Uncle Fyodor, in which the boy informs that he will soon arrive. His parents will follow him. However, the old house is too small to accommodate all the guests. And then Uncle Fyodor appeals for help to a construction company that quickly built a modern cottage.

The audience met the cartoon ambiguously. The audience criticized the drawing, which is very different from the original. The plot and the hidden advertising "Mile.ru" also caused a lot of discontent.

The Adventures of Faith and Anfisa

The works of Ouspensky about the little girl Vera, her parents and the homemade monkey Anfisa also have many admirers. The author describes the life of this wonderful family in a fun and exciting form. Readers are happy to follow the adventures of a girl and a monkey in a kindergarten, school and polyclinic.
