And this is exactly what SU-85 is good for. "The World of Tanks" does not have a lot of equipment of this class, so it should be used to the full.

The main danger is a direct (or even tangential) impact of a high-explosive projectile or ram. We will not even mention the danger of using armor-piercing shells against you, as this is quite obvious. Thin armor and the actual absence of the closing of the felling are your sure death in this case. Do not forget that a more or less serious tank will easily drop you from any cliff.

Cannon

At medium and close distances, such characteristics make it easy to take medium and high-level tanks. Unfortunately, the accuracy of 0.43 per hundred meters will not allow you to knock out from the distant distances something really serious.

The 85 mm D-5S-85BM gun has some better characteristics. The same caliber, but the rate of fire is 10 shots per minute. The most optimal tool for hunting from ambush. If you quickly maneuver, then it is relatively easy to destroy even medium and heavy tanks from comparatively distant distances.
