Social relations: essence and main types

Human life can not be imagined without social relations. It is the communication between people that helps us to remain socially stable and be able to solve vital tasks.

Public relations is interaction between subjects, based on a common interest, situation and so on.

Note that this concept includes a wide range of social systems. It can be a friendly relationship between children, adults, same-sex and different-sex friendships, "teacher-student" communication, "parent-children", "boss-subordinate", etc.

Note that this kind of relationship does not arise from scratch. They are the result of either their own choices, or are provided by other actors. For example, social relations are built by the person independently when he communicates with his friends, acquaintances - people, chosen from the general mass during his life. These people enjoy a certain sympathy. This can not always be said of a work or training team, which we can not choose.

Studies show that situations often arise when the subject is unable to build stable interpersonal relationships. As a rule, this applies to the work collective. Very often, if people only connect the achievement of the goal, social relations are accompanied by the emergence of conflict situations. Social relations are the basis of social structure. The composition of the social structure is the relationship between its elements, their placement.

All kinds of social relations are divided according to the elements that underlie their structure. Thus, the following components of the system are distinguished:

1. The subjects of communication, in the role of which can act two persons, two social groups or a subject that is in interaction with a social group.
2. A link that acts as a connecting element. In this role, there can be some subject, interest, common values that underlie the relationship.
3. The system of duties that subjects must adhere to if they want to build one or another form of relations.

Since social relations, roles and positions are different in one or another case, the result of this situation is the differences between people that exist in every society. This is an inevitable situation, which has well-founded reasons. Turning to the most general description of the essence of inequality, it turns out that it consists in the fact that people live in conditions that provide different access to material and spiritual resources.
