Simple non-frost-biting with your own hands

It is well known that even at zero degrees Celsius, water from the liquid aggregate state passes into a solid state. And this carries a lot of problems for both motorists and heating systems for private or holiday homes. To exclude freezing and, as a consequence, the failure of important functional units, a special liquid is required, which in the people is called "ice-free". It's easy to make it with your own hands. And the cost of the finished product will be low.

Car freezing by hands

The old and proven method is the use of all known and almost everywhere used in our country vodka. The quality of alcohol does not matter, so you can use the cheapest option. To prepare such a liquid, in addition to the alcohol-containing product, you will need ordinary water and any dishwashing detergent. The latter is necessary to give the final product good detergent properties.

In a pre-prepared five-liter bottle, you should pour out an alcoholic beverage. Two or three drops of detergent are added to the same place. It is no longer necessary, as this can lead to increased foaming, which will be inconvenient during the cleaning of the glass. Next, fill the bottle with water, close the lid and shake thoroughly. This is how the unfreezing is made by oneself. The proportions in this case can be slightly changed, based on environmental conditions. The liquid produced by such a recipe will be effective at temperatures as low as -25 degrees. If frosts are expected to be more serious, then you can increase the proportion of vodka to two bottles.

If frosts come, and in the windshield washer tank is filled with ordinary water, which has already turned into ice, then do not pick it out or otherwise try to extract it. In this case, you can simply add an alcohol-containing product to the tank. Under the influence of vodka, the ice gradually melts. After that, you can add a little detergent there. Thus, it turns out that the place will be made by unfreezing by hands. And then you can operate the vehicle in normal mode.

Non-freezing for heating by own hands

In this case, alcohol solution is not suitable. This is due to the fact that when heated, the alcohol will simply evaporate. That is, as a result, simple water will appear in the heating circuit, which at zero degrees will turn into ice. And this can lead to other, more sad consequences. Someone recommends the use of antifreeze and antifreeze, but in this case the manufacturer can remove the equipment from the warranty service. And it will also require additional control over all connections in the circuit, which can be damaged by special liquids.

But there is a way to reduce the freezing point of water. To do this, you should fill normal food salt in the heating circuit. Such unfreezing, made by hand, will not, of course, protect against severe frosts, but it will make it possible to protect the whole system from freezing to light frosts to -8 degrees.
