Sign "Speed limitation". Limitation of maximum speed (SDA)

The sign "Restriction of speed" is obliged to know every person who wants to become a driver. In general, this topic is very important. Everyone who dreams of driving should understand it. After all, it's not without reason that there are traffic rules. Road signs that prescribe compliance with a certain speed limit, on the roads are often found, so you should learn them. However, about everything in order.

What you need to learn

The first thing to remember is that the maximum permitted speed in the Russian Federation is 130 kilometers per hour. But not everywhere. This maximum is permissible only on motorways. And these parts of the road are very rare in themselves. And they always have a pointer with a mark of "130 km / h".

On suburban routes you can drive a maximum with a speed of 90 km / h. Exceed, of course, is not desirable. This is clearly indicated by road signs with comments. Within the city limits, it is allowed to travel at a speed of 60 kilometers per hour. And this is the maximum. However, it is not enough to know only these nuances. In fact, there are much more important moments, and here it is worth discussing them in more detail.

Maximum

3.24 is the first and most important sign. The speed limit, and the maximum, is what it prescribes. And this pointer, for sure, is familiar to all. Even those people who were not going to get the rights. It is round, with a white background and a red "edging". He categorically prohibits moving at a speed exceeding the number indicated on it. Written on the 50? Hence, it is impossible that the needle of the speedometer rises above the mark of 50 km / h.

But there is one interesting moment, everyone should know about it. Sometimes on suburban routes put a pointer prescribing a speed limit of 40 kilometers per hour maximum. Although usually the number is thirty. At such times, drivers who pass by simply do not have time to slow down and, so to speak, lose speed. And this is used by many traffic police officers, who, as a rule, are on duty there.

In fact, the situation is ambiguous. Why? But because on suburban routes there should not be signs 3.24 and even more marked "30 km / h". This can be done, but under certain conditions. And they are that before this pointer at a distance of 150 meters must be a sign 70 km / h, and then - 50 km / h.

End of restrictions

The sign "Speed limit", as well as all others, can not be valid throughout the entire road. Naturally, there is a "cancellation" indicator. It is known by the code 3.25. And this pointer declares an end to the constraint. It is round, in a black frame, on a white background there is a number crossed out with several lines.

Still sometimes put other indexes. This is permitted by the SDA. Road signs are numerous, and sometimes, to denote the zone of any restrictions (including the maximum speed regime), use the sign known as code 3.31 - a white circle in a black border, which is crossed out by several thin lines.

There is also the so-called addition to the speed limit. Usually it is a sign of 8.2.1., Which defines the scope of action. It shows the extent and arrows. If, for example, there is a sign "maximum speed of 50 km / h" and below it a sign with a figure of 200, it means that for two hundred meters the driver should not exceed the figure of 50 km / h. After the distance is covered, you can return to normal speed mode.

Hazardous area

It is logical to assume that the sign "Speed limit" is put where the dangerous site begins. On such, as is known, it is necessary to move with extreme caution. And dangers can be any character.

But how to determine the beginning and end of such a site? Visually. If it is indicated that for three kilometers it is necessary to move at a speed of 40 km / h and the driver sees that pits, potholes, road are broken along his way, then one must orient oneself to one's sensations. As soon as he feels that the road has become smooth again, you can already return to normal speed mode.

And still there are such devices - odometers. This is an automotive device that measures the distance and distance traveled by the car. After the zone of action of the sign "Speed Limit" has begun, it is worth looking at the odometer and calculating the readings that will be displayed on it after the completion of the hazardous area.

Intersections and settlements

It is worthwhile to know that the zone of action of the sign "Speed Limitation" is determined not only by signs on which there are instructions of meters and kilometers. Also, a pointer known as numbering 3.24 ceases to operate after the driver enters the intersection. However, it is worth remembering the fact that leaving from any adjoining territory or from the intersection (with forest or field roads) is not considered as such. And if such places are not equated to intersections, then the action of signs is not canceled.

And, finally, the settlements. The action of the pointer 3.24 can be canceled by the signs 5.23.2 and 5.23.1. This is the beginning of the settlement. The signs look like oblong rectangular plates, white background and black edging. In them can be written either the name of the city in black, or the silhouette of a settlement is drawn.

Another cancellation is given by the signs 5.24.1 and 5.24.2. This is the end of the village. They look exactly the same as the previous two, but they are also crossed out with a red thick line. There is also a pointer 5.25. Blue background, white letters, crossed out with a red line - this is also the end of the settlement. Accordingly, it is not separated from a group of road signs that cancel a certain high-speed mode.

And the last pointer is 5.25. This is the beginning of the settlement. He does not cancel anything, on the contrary, calls for a maximum speed of 60 km / h. It looks like this: blue background, white letters, which indicate the name of the city.

What is recommended

Everyone knows that groups of road signs are numerous. So, in addition to prohibiting, there are also recommended. These include the pointer 6.2. This is the sign "Recommended speed". That is, one that should be followed on a particular road section. The zone of action also lasts until the first intersection.

The shape of these signs is square, with rounded corners. Characterized by a blue background and white numbers. It should be noted that these signs do not oblige motorists to anything. Moving at the specified speed, or not - this is already decided directly to the driver. But still, the index is set there for good reason, so you should think about it.

Allowable minimum

Many may seem strange, but there are signs that require compliance not only with the declared maximum, but also with a minimum. They are round and blue, with white numbers inside. And drivers are allowed to move either with the declared speed, or with more. That is, if the number "60" is visible on the sign, then you need to go at least 60 km / h, but not less.

And the end of the zone in which this pointer acts is usually denoted by the symbol 4.7. The same round blue sign with a white digit, only crossed out with a red line. This means that the declared minimum is canceled, and it can be disregarded.

It is interesting that if the road sign is 4.6 (that is, the indicator of the minimum speed), then stop the car from the traffic police service will not work, only if the driver violated the rules.

Penalties for speeding

The speed limit on the bridge, roads, motorways is indicated for a reason. And if the rules are broken, then you can earn a fine. So, for example, for speeding by 20-40 kilometers per hour (but not more!) Will have to pay 500 rubles. Now, as you know, if a motorist makes a payment in the near future, then he gets a discount of 50%.

If the motorist moved at a speed of 60-80 km / h exceeding the norm, then you will have to pay 2000-2500 rubles. Or it can be deprived of a driver's license for 4-6 months. It depends on the decision of the traffic police. If the case is brought to court, then it can be challenged, so often the perpetrators do if they are easier to pay the specified amount than to remain without rights.

If the excess is more than 80 km / h, you will have to say goodbye to either five thousand or six months' rights. But when a person violates this order repeatedly, he may be deprived of the opportunity to manage the vehicle for a year.

Other fines

Do not think that only for speeding can be imposed a penalty. For too slow a movement is also punished. If the marking or sign orders to move at the specified minimum speed, but the driver ignored it, a fine of 500 rubles is supposed. But this violation is punished not as seriously as in the previous described situation.

It's worth to be more focused on the roads, it's not for nothing that the yellow signs of speed limit are already doing, which additionally attract attention.

Do not exceed the speed to astronomical indicators, because it's not even a penalty, but that the car is a means of transportation of increased danger. And "putting" the arrow of the speedometer at around 110, 130, 150 and above, a person puts at risk the lives of many people: himself, passengers, pedestrians, other drivers. So think about whether it is worth hurrying.
