Sights of Russia. Lake Nero

In Rostov is one of the mysterious sights of Russia - Lake Nero. He already has more than 500 thousand years, but it is never forgotten by people. Tourists, local fishermen often come there for new adventures and impressions. The area of Lake Nero is 50 square kilometers. It is shallow, muddy, the bottom is covered with algae, and because of this water is unsuitable for drinking. Despite this, the fish here feel great. On it are two islets: Lviv and Christmas, they are also called Forest and Winter. Nero in translation means "marsh, muddy terrain."

In Russia, many people are eager to visit Lake Nero. Rostovites take pride in this enviable place. There it is allowed to fish, and anglers often leave satisfied with their catch. Despite the fact that the depth of the water does not exceed four meters, the lake is navigable. Recently, people swim in it on boats - this is one of the entertainment of tourists.

Lake Nero is considered pre-glacial, it is well preserved and is considered a rare pond. On one of the banks there is a monastery of ancient Rostov the Great. For the rest of the perimeter there are marshes - solid reeds, which creates the illusion of a dry shore. Often, inexperienced fishermen catching fish not far from the river, mistakenly believe that they are near the shore. In fact, it can be kilometers before it. It is worth to visit the lake once, and it becomes a favorite place for pastime. Unfortunately, the number of fish is decreasing with each season, more and more because of the growing number of anglers. A man who has visited Lake Nero, fishing is provided. Even the beginner will be satisfied with the first catch.

It is popular to catch fish on the lake in winter. Since the depth is small, the water quickly freezes, it's completely safe to walk on ice. The depth of the lake and its vegetation are almost ideal for good growth and reproduction of fish. People here can catch perch and roach, which, it may be said, are the most permanent inhabitants of fresh water. Lake Nero is rich in fish such as pike, crucian carp, rudd, gustera and podleschik. There is an insignificant amount of pike perch and ruff. In the winter, of course, fishing produces more interest, and to leave from there with a good catch is more real. In the summer, it is much more difficult to do. As already mentioned, this is due to the growing number of fishermen.

Lake Nero has the second name - Kaovo. On its shores there are many settlements, the largest is the Sarskoe hillfort. Earlier there were many sights, but, unfortunately, now they are almost gone. Tourists are provided with entertainment such as swimming in private boats and a walk on speedboats. The most important thing is that the best sides of the city and the kinds of nature are best viewed from the water. From the middle of the lake you can see the Rostov Kremlin, Spaso-Yakovlevsky Dimitriev and the Avraamiev monasteries. In addition, two excursion boats - "Rodina" and "Zarya" - are on the water.

Traveling on your native land is an indescribable pleasure that is difficult to compare with any other!
