Shenzhen (China) - the economic miracle of the Republic

One of the largest cities of the Republic of China is Shenzhen. The city is only thirty years old. He appeared instead of the fishing village, which was inhabited by 30 thousand people, and today in the metropolis lives and works more than 10 million inhabitants. By his appearance, Shenzhen is indebted to the father of economic reforms, Deng Xiaoping, who decided to build a city in the Pearl River Delta, which became a counterbalance to modern Hong Kong.

With the beginning of economic reforms, in 1979, the Chinese government decided to create a free economic zone on the border with Hong Kong. Thanks to this, the state and foreign investments went to the region, and in a few years they started talking about it as an economic miracle of the entire eastern region. Shenzhen (China) has become a major financial and industrial and transport center of the republic.

Shenzhen is a city of skyscrapers. So, in 2010, the Kingkey 100 skyscraper was commissioned. Its height is 442 m. In 2015, the financial center "Pinan" was built, including a 115-storey tower, the height of which is 648 meters, and several other smaller ones.
