Traditionally, this dish is taken grilled chicken, you can buy it in the store, or you can just bake a chicken in the oven or even fry - it will also work out well, only a little more calorie - after all you will have to add butter. In addition to the chicken, you can put pork in shaverm, but you need to cook it in such a way that it is soft. Also, any poultry meat and any kind of meat can be used, but these species are most often used for its preparation. In the meat must certainly be present spices, with which it must be cooked.

Spices in the eastern kitchen - this is a separate conversation. A good chef necessarily has his own set of spices, including a chef who cooks shawarma on conscience, and such people actually meet, and, quite often, much more often than they usually think. Such masters usually have their own permanent and even corporate, if so you can say, customers. At the heart of such fragrant mixtures lies curcuma, without which there is not one oriental dish, curry, cardamom and special little-known eastern spices. In principle, Shaverma at home will endure and special spices from the store, and if it is not on sale - you can buy a few packages of condiments for oriental dishes, for example, kebab, pilaf and so on, and try to do with them or a combination of them .

Traditional sauces for shaverma - ketchup and mayonnaise, they can be mixed, and can be added so that they lie separately or in layers. Since we have shaverm at home, we can take care of their quality and calorie content - a light mayonnaise, and even his absence will make the dish a diet. Also, nobody forbids experimenting with sauces, for example, adding mustard or even trying something new. Sauces can be mixed with spices, and you can add just like that.

Shaverma at home does not necessarily have to wrap up in a certain way - you can do it the way you prefer, most importantly, that the contents do not flow. If you use a pita - then it's still easier: just make an incision in it on one side and put inside the stuffing. Shaverma - a hot dish, so you need to worry about that it was evenly warmed, in a microwave or oven.
