Several ways to transfer contacts from Android to Android

When buying a new phone on the OS "Android", the first thing arises the thought: "How do I save phone numbers?" It turns out that this is not such a big problem, since you can move phone numbers from one gadget to another in several ways.

How can I transfer contacts from Android to Android?

Ways to transfer the phone book directly from the phone based on the OS "Android" on the other quite a lot. All of them are simple and will take no more than 5 minutes.

By Bluetooth

The first thing that comes to mind is to transfer contacts from Android to Android using Bluetooth. This method has long been known to everyone, since it was very popular on button phones. However, with the advent of "Android" in it, almost nothing has changed.

First you need to enable Bluetooth on both devices. Next, you need to turn on the device discovery system. On some, it is always disabled to protect the user from transferring incomprehensible files. Go to Settings / Bluetooth. We put a tick in front of "Visible to others" on both gatgets, after which we perform a search for devices on one of them.

We find the right one (most likely, it will be the first one on the list, but just in case see its name), then click on it for the connection. Perhaps you will need to come up with a password for a safer connection and enter it on another phone. Once connected, we begin sending the data.

We go in the phone book. In the settings, click "Mark several" or "Mark all", then click on "Send", "By Bluetooth". We accept on other gadget.

Save to SD card

Few people know, but the contacts can be saved to internal memory or micro SD. To do this, go to the phone book, enter the options and click "Import / Export". From the list choose "Export to SD-card". It is important to remember the path to save, which will be specified (most likely, the file will be saved to the system folder). You can transfer contacts from Android to Android from the storage directory via Bluetooth, email, by sending to the cloud. After receiving the list of numbers on another gadget, we go into contacts, open "Import / Export", where we choose "Import from SD-card".

On the SIM card

This method can be used in a situation where other methods are physically impossible, for example, to transfer numbers from the old phone-dialer.
For this method, all phone numbers must be on the SIM card. We insert the SIM card with the phone book into the smartphone and transfer the data in any convenient way.

We transfer through the computer

You can also transfer contacts from Android to Android via PC. To do this, you need to install on your PC a special program for this, for example MOBILedit! Download, install.

Immediately after installation, the utility will prompt you to download the driver database. To save time, we ship them only for the devices of the brands we need. Before you transfer contacts to Android, you need to prepare a gadget. Go to the "Settings / Options for developers" and note the item "Debug USB." We connect to the PC via a USB cable, start the program.

After startup, you will need to select the type and purpose of the connection. In our case, select Phone \ Cable connection. Click "Next", after which the automatic scanning of connections will begin. When the gadget is found, select it and click Finish. Further in the left panel click on the section Phonebook and click on Export in the toolbar from the top. We select the place of preservation, we name and in the column "File type" we choose CSV.

We connect the second smartphone to the computer via cable, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, before transferring contacts with Android on Android. The order of the connection is exactly the same. After clicking on the AImport button in the top toolbar and loading the exported file. Then go to the phone contacts, click "Import" and load the address book.

Via Google

Another way to transfer contacts from Android to Android is via Google+. To begin with, you also need to save the phone book with one file and transfer it in any convenient way (USB cable, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cloud, e-mail). Now go to the mail Gmail. Every user of "Android" it should be, because without it you will not download any application from the market. Go to google.com and log in to your account, then go to the profile. In the upper right corner click on the nine boxes and select the item "Mail" from the list. Easier to get here you can go to gmail.com or mail.google.com. Next, click on the "Gmail" button and select "Contacts / Contacs" from the drop-down list.

In the opened page, click on "More" - "Import".

Download the phonebook saved in CSV or vCard format .

To transfer data from Google to "Android", you need to export them in the same CSV format to the hard disk, reset to the phone and import into the database numbers. Why, then, does such a cumbersome method need? Its advantages are that the data is saved in Google, they can be edited and added new ones.

In addition, in the future you can simply synchronize with the Gmail mailbox, after which all contacts will be available in the phone after synchronization. If you synchronize with other applications (Facebook, "VKontakte", Skype), you can see the contacts from them in the list of phone numbers.
