Robert Arzumanyan: a successful debut

Young years

The first steps in the football career Robert Arzumanyan did in the youth team of the Yerevan "Pyunik". The guy quickly progressed and at the age of 19 he was already close to the basic composition of the "phoenix".

It often happens that a young player shining among peers is "lost" on the field, having got into an adult team. In the case of Arzumanyan everything turned out exactly the opposite. Playing shoulder on the shoulder with established players, Robert not only did not drop out of the team, but also very quickly gained experience from the veterans of the Yerevan collective. It's no joke, already according to the results of his first season in Pyunik, football experts highly appreciated the actions of the young defender, awarding him the title of the best player in the Premier League.

Invitation abroad

In Yerevan, Robert Arzumanyan played three seasons. During this time, attention was paid to him not only in the Russian Premier League, which traditionally leaves the most gifted players from the Armenian championship, but also in the whole Old World. The fastest was the Danish "Runners". Robert signed a one-year contract with the Danes, and six months later - a new contract, designed for four years. However, Arzumanyan's star did not shine for long on "Auto Park." The new coach of the team increasingly left Arzumanian outside the main line-up, and after the selection for Euro 2012 and completely transferred the defender to the backup team. Naturally, this course of events was not included in the plans of the Armenian football player, and therefore he asked to expose himself to the transfer.

In early 2011, Robert Arzumanyan negotiated with Wroclaw Slaska, but this transfer broke when it seemed that the negotiations are at the final stage. As a result, the defender was still in Poland, but not in Slaska, but in Jagiellonia. This period of the career of the Armenian football player can hardly be called successful, after playing about a dozen matches, Robert for various reasons (a series of injuries, the change of the head coach in the team) stopped not just getting into the main team, but even in the application for the game. Then followed a short lease in the Russian "SKA-Energy" and another uncertainty.

To the East

It's logical that Robert Arzumanyan started the new season in a new team. She became one of the leaders of Kazakhstani football - Aktobe. With the team, the defender won the gold medals of the championship and once reached the playoffs of the second most prestigious European tournament - the Europa League.

In 2014, the press service of the Perm "Amkar" announced that in the summer off-season the staff of the team was replenished by Robert Arzumanyan. The football player signed the agreement for two and a half years. However, the defender and the new club did not work. Not playing for a season and a half dozen matches, the player again went to Kazakhstan to practice, but this time the rent did not bring him anything. Having played for Karaganda Shakhtar, a talented defender and one of the best Armenian football players of the new millennium, in the summer of 2016, there was no club. Robert Arzumanyan did not announce the end of the player's career. However, to find a new team, without playing the game and being at the age of "thirty", it will be oh as uneasy.
