The only insignificant disadvantage of this variety is that summer berries are slightly tastier than autumn berries.

This variety forms numerous root siblings, which can be easily used for propagation of the culture. Saplings of raspberry "polka" should be planted on sunny, sheltered from the wind. This variety prefers weakly acid soils. Responsive for raspberries and for the application of organic fertilizers. In early spring, they produce an annual pruning of shoots. This removes broken, sick, frozen and weak branches. Cutting the tops of each shoot by 10-15 cm can provide an increase in the size of berries and their number. The young growth of this raspberry, which appeared in May and planted in another place, has time to give berries in the first year. After harvesting, the fertilized shoots are cut off. If they are not cut, the fruits that appeared on them in July will be reduced. Berries of this grade are suitable for freezing, jams, compotes.
